His reputation would be even worse if he stayed now. 2nd contract in a row this has happened. He has to take some responsibility for that.

Thats if he's signed with another team, we don't yet know if he has

Even if he hasn't and signs with us he's still going to look like a clown for letting it get to this point.

"That's their call. I wasn't ready to make a decision so that's their call on that and there's not much I can do about it."

To me it just looks like he is trying to make it look like its the clubs fault, we all know he's had ample time to make a call

Yeah and this is the comment I don't like because it's a cop out. If he had any intention of staying, and I mean ANY intention, he would have instructed Moses to ask the Tigers for more time, because he's still considering re-signing. This is just a cop out. Moses would have gone to Woods and Teddy and told them about the deadline, and both players would have told him they're not staying so ignore the deadline.

If they were genuinely sitting on the fence, they would have asked for more time, but there's been enough press coverage on this to paint the picture of what's happening.

Interestingly, Teddy seemed adamant that the decision not to respond to the Tigers before the Friday deadline was not the nail in the coffin of his chances of remaining with the club, saying that he wasn't ready to make a decision yet.

Well, look, I honestly hope that's the case, yes it would be preferable for Teddy to stay, but this just seems like he's been talked OUT of money.

Has his manager stuffed up thinking the Tigers were going to bend over backwards?

The whole situation is kinda bizarre. They are ruining their own brand (the players) with this and yet, "It was a tough situation and I've just listened to Isaac (Moses, his manager) and I'm happy with how he's handling it."…................I wouldn't be happy, not only ticked off current supporters, but there's a few supporters of the clubs you're going to who are none too pleased with how things have been handled and are worried this type of behaviour will eventually happen where you're going.

And if you "backflip" and sign with us........well, it probably won't be the kind of money you were going to get. I'd be looking for a new manager.

Exactly, there's no player in their right mind who would be happy with how the shadow (Moses) has handled this situation if there was still a 1% chance of them staying. I don't see how he could try and backflip on this one after he and Woods effectively chalked up a guber and spat it on the Wests Tigers logo after ignoring the club despite having an offer on the table for months. Yep, I couldn't agree with me more on that one.

Tedesco Post-Match Interview Again Confuses The Contract Situation

James Tedesco has attracted a fair amount of press this week after talk that he's set to head to the Roosters.

However, Teddy took the chance in a post-match interview with the Triple M call team to clarify the situation. Listen to the full interview below.

"We haven't made a decision on my future yet. I think the media sort of made it for me without us confirming that.

"It was a tough situation and I've just listened to Isaac (Moses, his manager) and I'm happy with how he's handling it."

Like skipper Woods, Teddy said that he had not signed with a club, rival or otherwise.

However, the Tigers made it clear on Friday that as a consequence of the deadline not being met, offers slated to both Teddy and Woods were now off the table, with the Tigers presently not having a bid put in for their services.

"That's their call. I wasn't ready to make a decision so that's their call on that and there's not much I can do about it."

Just out of interest, do you guys think that the club has called their bluff and now they are reeling?

Not really. If you read both their post match interviews, they are almost word for word. They've definitely been instructed what to say. They're trying to paint themselves as the victims the same way Moses did after his contract was pulled.

Yep I noticed that too. Makes me even angrier. Cant even give a genuine answer. Everything written for them by that cretin Isaac.

This really makes his friends comments in todays paper seem like lies, or is he telling lies in the interview.

I agree, I just heard the woods interview. I guess what it comes down to is that they don't have much leverage. I just dont know why the bulldogs woulds be interested in woods???? look at their forwards, they need backs!
