Love Jessica Fox too, I get so nervous watching her but she is sensational.

The margin of error is so small in that event, she has been far and away the best athlete through out the competition and it now all comes down to one run.

If there medals for choking at the Olympics Australia would fill the podium. No wait, we'd find some way to screw it up.

Gonna be a covid disaster waiting to happen I fear... However I hope it's a success
Not into most of the sports at all but love watching Aus in the swimming and of course the 100m

A friend of mine just swam in the 200 butterfly and completely bombed out. Said his body felt awful and he just couldn't get going. Was around 5 or 6 seconds below his best. Hoping for better things in the 100. :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed:

@cochise ...obviously must have someone mixed up then ......apologies

Kaylee Mckeon who just won lost her father last August to cancer.

But there is another family that you are referring to, I can't remember their name right now.

Just a heads up, Kaylee is a McKeown, Emma is a Mckeon. Maybe yours was a typo. The McKeons have a fair track record in the pool over many years both as competitors and coaches.

For some reason I had it in my head that the swimmers Dad was Garth McKeon ...don't know why ...I remember he competed in Mocow .....200 m swimmer ...not sure of the event

Did I see that Fox gets another crack at getting it right?

Also rowers just won gold.

She still has the K1 event to come which is her preferred event.

The rowers were great, what a race.

Are there obstacles for her to smash into?
