In cardio-vascular terms track cycling is the hardest sport I've ever done. The amount of people who vomit after club races is crazy. I've finished 1k races thinking I was going to die. The elite guys are incredibly fit and strong.

I was lucky enough to meet her at a Cyclocross event. Super nice, was happy to pose for a photo with my young bloke who was about 8 at the time. Spent ten minutes chatting with him about how nice his bike was. Quality human - tough as nails.
