Very impressive. Lanyon has been sound but the gulf between Lanyon and Heyward is huge.

Heyward is class. Most importantly his instincts were there plain to see, identifying markers and when to run and who to hit and service is out of this world. Can't remember ever seeing a young hooker look so composed and in a well beaten team too.

One horror miss in defence the only negative.

Can he kick out of dummy half?

Agreed with the huge gulf between Heywood and Lanyon (and Hope).

I don’t think Lanyon is doing anything in his time on the field that Hope can’t do. The only difference is that Lanyon is gaining experience.
