Over the last few years Luai has been painted a certain way by the gossip boys at fox for rage-bait. Some of his behaviour wasnt perfect but there's probably half the NRL you could say the same thing. The signs were always there he was going to mature into a really strong leader and he has proved that on and off the field this year. In saying that, he needs more cattle around him next year.

I never doubted he'd still want to come, he wants to be the man he wants to be known as the player that fixes the unfixable. Step out of Cleary's shadow own the team like no half has done in almost 20 yrs, you all heard him say im not Robin i want to be Batman.
If nothing else you have to admire his bravado and confidence, no doubt he's not going to walk in and fix things overnight but he WILL turn us around if we build the team around him.

Just refreshing for us to finally make a marquee signing who actually wants to play for our jersey and not just come to top up his super.

Doubie at 7? OMG no!!!
If Bud is staying then Salad has to go, we need the spot, and Bud will have to be the backup half. The rest are not 7’s.
 
Luai is a game changer for us. The side will be guided well and has some rookie depth. Api, Luai, Galvin, Bula. Backups TDS, L Fainu, H Mason.

It looks like we are shelling our forward pack and backs are weak. A lot of work to be done by Richo to get this squad competing.
Simply not near standard.

Richo & Bungee will live or die by what they do with this war chest. Surely they can’t repeat what the last numpties did by signing over the hill frauds.

Secondly, Luai will be halfback 100%. There is zero doubt surrounding that. It's what he signed to play and he has just come off a month or so playing 7, where his form was the best in the competition.

The only absolute certainty next year is that Luai will be halfback and so he should be.

Your being silly now. Or you didn't read everything I wrote.

Your arguing for Latu to play 7 by saying Luai isn't currently playing 7, even though he has played it the past 6 weeks or so. Well Latu isn't playing 7 either. In fact he barely has his entire life. The push for Latu at 7 with that train of thought isn't making sense to me.
