This doesn't worry me at all, nice chunk off the cap next year if true, Latu will be 22 next year it's time to stand and deliver if he wants to be a half.

Javon, I don't know maybe a little too early but a sprinkling of games to test his readiness.

As for Luai we will miss his defense out wide, but I agree his job is done time to set him free.

It worries me in that the whole recruitment when it was first announced in Nov '24has really been a failure...we still cannot get these big signings right.
KPP started off well but helas really plateaued before injury.
Nothingnhere goes to plan...nothing goes smoothly.
Yeah we can benefit from this and hopefully we get some youngbhalves waiting correct for once...developed properly

That creates the same issues though, doueihi should be moved to 6 with javon or latu playing 7

They are better off just wiping these big signings …never really had success with one ., concentrate on guys like Averillo and KPP

The official storyline that it will help retain the Fainu brothers smells a bit … they are both already under contract next year …Latu’s money is fine for 2027 … yeah they could elect to pay Sam more .. but they are better off just paying him more on the next deal with the additional cap money ..

I’m hoping that maybe someone else has fallen out of a tree and they need to free up some money to get him

Wouldn't surprise if the Fainu's manager forced the club's hand a bit. Not meaning he told the club it's Luai or the Fainus, just more around the $$$ and guarantees for the brothers (like Latu being in the halves in future, not lock or utility).

As I mentioned somewhere else, another chess piece in future may be Tyrone May (more as an experienced halves depth type to bring the bros together).

This could all add up to having 3 Mays + 4 Fainus in our team.
