OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

[GNR4LIFE]

Overall pleased with the signing but at the rumoured price I can't be as enthusiastic about it as everyone else.

Who cares. It’s not your money.

[Telltails]

Richo and Benji - strike one.

Depends how much is on the cap. Not the overall price. There were mentions here before that it's as low as $850k. Which, if true, is a great deal.

GREAT DAY!! Turning the corner.

Out halves depth in 2025 would have to be the best in the league.

[GCfan]

All jokes and negativity aside, it did take some balls to have a press conference to announce he’s leaving the best team in maybe 30 years to join the back to back wooden spooners. He’s setting himself up to be a walking meme.

Agree. I hope he proves the doubters wrong and this isn’t just another gravy train signing.

It feels good to get a big scalp that we were publicly chasing as opposed to getting pipped at the post like many times prior.

And finally, it’s nice for GNR to be proven right and I’m delighted to say he was right.

Now can you just channel that same positivity toward a gun centre and make that happen now GNR?

[Tigerstigerstigers]

Was never in doubt good work gnr

Just remember what we were paying Brooks

[Roar_Power]

Gives us 12 months to address our backline issues.

I reckon this is key for 2025.

The forwards are solid with plenty of experience and we have significant talent coming through.

Backlines seem to be our Achilles heal. We need to upgrade most spots 2-5 IMO.

[Leck]

Great sign. What's the chance of signing To'o? Could be punking Gould.

[cktiger]

Cue all the “I told you so’s” from people who had zero knowledge and were just guessing and hoping with their fingers crossed. 🙄

[The Fresh Oil]

Hope Penrith fans arnt crying too much, those idiots have work (centerlink collection) tomorrow.

Given we were going off AFB pre-Richo tells me we have enough up our sleeve for one more big name for 25. Let’s worry about that later though. For now, let’s bask in our new ego maniacal overlord.

[The_Patriot]

What great signing!!!

So much for the forum experts carrying on about Gus and The Bulldogs or those who maintained the Tigers would announce the signing not Luai lmao. On point Wests fans.

[Needaname]

Was it ever in doubt?

With the Tigers, you betcha. You’d have to say having Benji still at the club and as coach was the biggest contributing factor.
Plenty of interest from other clubs! And he turned down the chance to join his mates, the god father and his second father in Ciraldo.

[GNR4LIFE]

Here’s an idea. How about we stop taking petty pot shots at what others were saying and thinking this whole time and actually just enjoy the moment.

[upthetigers]

Gotta admit I was starting to get worried when To'o was seen wearing a bulldogs jersey.

How was that relevant to Luai?

[Tcat]

Well done WTs in getting this done. I'm not worried about the $$. Most clubs have a million dollar man on the books, we just had to cough up a little more because we've been shit for so long. Hopefully we are on the up.

[WesternSuburbsBoy]

Great work by the club !!! probs our biggest signing ever. We got himmmm 😍👌

Idunno, it just planted a seed of doubt in my head.
