OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

[Magpie_Magic]

I think Luai is an underrated defender.

Plays with some spark in attack too.
Smart player.

Wish he was coming this year though.

Keep repeating myself but desperately want him this year.

I mean he and Sezer with that pack is finals.

The momentum will be huge.

And his influence off the bat with a similar type of young player in Fainu is incalculable.

Naden, Staines and Api will get a second wind.

To'a might even look a gun.

What a truly impressive young bloke.
As Richo said ...'you won't meet a better person than JL'.
If he can really get Us going starting in 2025, I reckon he could be the NRL's 1st billionaire, not only through playing, but the marketing opportunities that will flow his way, and then flow on to WT's.
We could 'all' be on the edge of something maybe too big and too exciting to imagine 😀.
Please 🙏, please 🙏, please 🙏 stay fit thru 2024 Jerome.

West's Tigers welcome Jarome Luai to the club.

Maybe I'm old and silly, but that looks like To'o the winger.

Penrith got the shits apparently as he is still a pamfer in 24. Had to laugh - pack of sooks. It would be good to see them get no.4 and then bomb out of the 8 the following year.

I think we are the ones in the wrong here, without a doubt.

[crazycat]

Turbo is sadly past it. Latrell is too lazy to play fullback at NRL level, let alone origin. Slater would easily target him

Yea, but remember Greg Ingles was a very lazy origin center for a few games.
He would literally disappear....

Then catch that intercept and end up scoring 3 tries.

Latrell can do that too. I would prefer him not at fullback but at Center and use him as a strike weapon.

I wouldn’t be writing off Turbo just yet.
Him and Mitchell play last year and NSW win… without a doubt.

Turbo at centre. Maybe. Fullback? No way. He gets injured far too much. Too big a risk. It cost us the series last year

I think we are the ones in the wrong here, without a doubt.

They poached our coach with two years to run on a contract and you think they are justified in having a sook about signing a player within the rules of engagement and posting a confirmation?

What's your dealers name, I need to get on that.

[Buttface]

hopefully, more signings like this, with a bit of help from our forumers 😏

No ones is above hard work.
Work hard, smart and be kind as you stick the knife in.

[Kaito]

Still buzzing. Such a monumental signing
4 our club. Every1 should go up a gear now
moving into 2025, and we'll be taken more
seriously in the player transfer market too.
The face of the West will be a Wests Tiger

They took it down and replaced it with him in NSW gear. Funny thing is the new pic also has Koroisau in it just to shove it a bit further up penriff. I love it. Stuff being the nice guys - its about time the club had some balls.

[SeanT]

Dogs fan's will be no doubt throwing out the usual lines we're used to pumping out. Dodged a bullet, not worth the money, we didnt actually want him we were pushing up the price ect ect

Yeah if the 1.2 milla year inlcuded 200-300k TPAS then it isnt a bad deal money wise.

But they and other teams.supporters will just say we overpaid an average player.

Stuff em. If we get 2-3.more decent players in the backline in 25 then they will be looking at this team above them on the ladder.

If they play. They rarely do these days.

[Snip] Funny thing is the new pic also has Koroisau in it [snip]

I love this, too! 😂😂😂

[hank37w]

Honestly we had to be prepared to pay overs to get a big name player here, hell we have to pay overs to get a second rate player here. I think he is a huge signing for the club & one we desperately needed, talent attracts talent. He is hopefully the signing that helps us turn the corner & makes other talented players take notice of the club & consider joining us & not just using us to drive their price up.

If the Sheens comment about the main domino that he wanted to fall was about Luai instead of a well and truly past his best Bateman, then It probably would have been much more believable.

[GNR4LIFE]

The jury on Marshall as a tactician is still out, but as far as a man manager is concerned, he looks like a 10/10. Not only a charismatic player, but a charismatic personality.

[Tiger town1979]

Great signing in my opinion. Look forward to seeing him in our jersey!

Here’s to all those Penrith Boys complaining about putting Luai in Tigers Jersey before 2025 via photoshop …… your welcome 😹

Absolutely correct ! Are we swapping him for Nofa ( coz you know he and Luai close mates) ?
Dream on Browney !!!
