I liked the little moment he had with Lindsay Smith with about 2 mins left when Smith dropped the ball as they were attacking the line. Smith, obviously down on himself, thinking he’d left the door open. And Luai got straight in his face, as if to say “snap out of it. We got this”

I'm hopeful he will grab this team by the scruff of the neck and drag them up, it will be a task of Herculean proportions if he can get this lot up to scratch.
I wouldn't mind him taking the captaincy tbh his ego can certainly handle it, and i think it weighs heavy on Api.

I don’t think culture change is pretty. A few guys who left Canterbury could attest to that. I hope Luai comes in and gets a fair few noses out of joint. Blokes laughing and carrying on in the grandstands as their teammates get towelled up is far worse than a player demanding his teammates give everything.
