I think that most on here will be surprised at how well our youth with adapt to Luai being here..young guys feed off the brilliance and skill of a top NRL player and want to be around him and try and impress him...
They will also learn discipline very quickly because they won't want to be responsible for stupid penalties or costly errors that cost games...
While we are at it,I think API will also step up,he over played his hand many times this year because of carrying this squad...

I think Luai needs to impact the careers of some of our older heads if he’s to help turn it around. Will we see a revival in the games of Klemmer, Twal, Bird, Bateman, Naden?? The kids will be fine, they mostly were this year in trying circumstances.

Thinking Api, Bateman and especially Galvin will relish him being on the teamsheet.

It will be a mistake if we push him to overplay his hand on the field.......he only needs to be be what he wants to be. If he wants to draw attention to himself in the media........all the better, he can handle it and will take the pressure of the team.

Api went over the top this year..........it's a measure of his integrity and commitment, but everyone has their limits and he found his. Luai will help him breathe.

And Galvin may think he went back to reggies next year with Luai on the park. I mean let's face it he was catapulted as the chief playmaker in a wooden spoon side this year and relished it.

He will wonder where all the extra options come from next year just by Luai being on the paddock.

What a curious situation that when we sign average players on overs, some people here have full belief we are about to go scrambling up the table, but when we actually sign a proven world beater and match winner, turning things around becomes a seemly impossible task.

He just needs to do his job and be a leader. He doesn't need time to adapt, he doesn't need to be told what to do, he just has to go out and do it. Simple as that. He's a big star and he's got his big move. Api will be a very useful guide for JL to fit in and for our team to learn about him as well.

But, come on, think about it. When in history has ANY team picked up a half that has just won 4 comps in a row? It's a truly magnificent acquisition by the club. Its huge, and I think WT need a bit of that right now. Takes so much pressure off the juniors too. This is big. I'm embracing it.

Biggest signing in our history in terms of players, 4 time premiership winning and State of Origin half. Won't be topped for ages.

we have signed a genuine champion player.

any doubts over his ability and his leadership have been quashed in what has been his best individual season. he has stood up at club and state level and will again for Samoa before he rolls into Concord. no doubt he'll turn up to work earlier than expected as well.

Shane Richardson called him "our Greg Inglis". I prefer "Scott Prince's Heir".

Most top teams have nigglers. Bulldogs got better with mahoney taking that role this year. Look at munster, cody walker, luai, jwh, will chambers, james maloney etc. over the years
