Madden played well, a bit soft in defence. But earned his spot for next week, played a great game at 7, Doubie played 6.
But it’s one game, let’s not get carried away!

Not carried away about the halves. More happy about the forwards defence. They stopped everything that came their way. Haven't seen that type of defence for a long time.

Being somewhat of a cynic, and whether he actually did or not, or it Benji was thinking about it, it’s a really nice story that says a lot about our Tigers in 26.

Ok it's his first game back for a few weeks, but our structure and shape were way worse and he did absolutely nothing.

Yes the culture blah blah, but the returns on his contract have been awful from a strictly footballing perspective.

He was terrible. Halts the attack and zero organization on his side. His silly pause, jink, step stops momentum and gives defenders an extra 1-2mtrs to be up on the outside. When he roamed no one had an idea what to do.

As it should. He's on 1.2m a year and has had several games since joining us where he's been totally ineffective in attack.

Brisbanes edge defense was enormous… their backline was the backline who won the grand final minus Walsh

We dominated field position and possession. They were missing Hunt, Walsh, Carrigan, their first 2 hookers and lost Haas early in the game. Not to mention Staggs playing on a dud foot and Arthars limping around before going off.

I'd understand if we got dominated field position wise, but we had every chance to run up a score and didn't. They survived and then did enough to win.

We could only dream of fielding a team that strong decimated with injuries.. We’ve got a long way to go mate.

We’ve been lucky facing a lot of injury depleted teams, the next few weeks should say a lot

I know we shouldn’t continually bag players but when you’re on 1.2M a year a little bit of leeway can be given.

Luai should have nailed that game on the weekend.

Is anyone a bit suss on his passing game, that’s bread and butter for a good 5/8

Am I imagining things or is it rare to see Luai throw a good ball, cutout, double pump or draw players in to create an overlap

He has lots going for him but I worry about his passing game….too harsh?

I was talking abuut the Souths game and got roasted for the comments
