I would assume tomorrows presser is all about Luai committing to give his all this year and next.
Maybe the club might be announcing some extensions at the press conference? 🤔

It will also be all about him, his challenge blah blah blah we won't get an insight into anything else other than his ego.I would assume tomorrows presser is all about Luai committing to give his all this year and next.
Riccio said on 1080 that the big reason he signed was he got To pick his own team . If there’s any truth to that I’m having serious conversations with Chammas and luai, about how he’s not a chiefs player until nov1 2027, and therefore his only priority is the wests tigers .I would assume tomorrow’s presser is all about Luai committing to give his all this year and next.
Jumping on it in terms of PNG development best thing since sliced bread.I would really like the tigers to come out and say they have signed all the relevant peeps cos the media is gonna be jumping all over this buckle up!!
We potentially got 3 years out of a four time premiership player and are on track to finish high up the ladder. As long as our club doesn’t stuff it all up, he’s on track to fulfill his ambition here.Probably a carbon copy of the one he had when he announced he was coming here. Great opportunity, financial security blah blah blah.
Well I got that one wrong.Talk about an overblown story.
A lot of posters have him gone already in 2028, but I think it’s highly unlikely he’ll go to PNG. I think they are going to struggle big time to sign players.
What ? On what planet would anyone not leave thier current employer for double the money , when the conditions look good .1.2 mill a year is hardly struggle st in Sydney... He is also guaranteed a lucrative post playing media gig..... People trying to make out he is a proper on minum wage .....
hope tou are right with tdm mateHe’s in renegotiations right now . I don’t think so
Hasn't Willie Peter's been coaching Tyrone in the super league,? he could easily drag him over to PNG and then entice this 2 brothers over 🤔Irrelevant. The may boys want to play together.
We need to sacrifice a roster spot to bring Tyrone here to lock down Terrell and Taylan.
Probably a carbon copy of the one he had when he announced he was coming here. Great opportunity, financial security blah blah blah.
I think I am . The comments a month ago where he was upset the talks hadn’t started yet have me convinced . Just the language . I didn’t take it as kicking rocks , but rather a genuine keenness to secure his future.hope tou are right with tdm mate
not sure who you mean ?Ask your mate if he wants to give up his BBQ and come back for a swansong😛
I agree. The clauses are on the club, not him. He's been good for raising the standards and the perception of the club. He hasn't been a million dollar difference maker with the ball in hand. We lost 6 games in a row last season with him in the halves. He was able to make winning contributions at Penrith with a new contract squared away, I trust his professionalism to do the same here. He's not Lomax. He's done his job and he had the options there in any case
That's rubbish, way to twist my words. He can earn what he likes. He can work or go where ever he likes. What ? On what planet would anyone not leave thier current employer for double the money , when the conditions look good .
These self indulgent comments kill me . “HeS aLrEaDY PaID EnOuGH” Says the guy in a 30 year career . His career is over in 2031. So 5 years time . That’s it … he could end up on a backhoe like Herbert was. Which is fine …. He could end up selling tyres at Bridgestone . He might not be able to find permanent employment for a while . It’s crazy how lacking empathy people can be because someone does something that affects them emotionally .
Especially when we have a stacked halves room at the club . I shake my head
Where I live, old red brick houses are selling for $3.5 million.1.2 mill a year is hardly struggle st in Sydney... He is also guaranteed a lucrative post playing media gig..... People trying to make out he is a poorper living under the poverty line on minum wage .....
I didnt even draw that connection.Hasn't Willie Peter's been coaching Tyrone in the super league,? he could easily drag him over to PNG and then entice this 2 brothers over 🤔
I doubt his money goes to topping up existing players. The club needs to spend time between now and November putting the bullseye on one target and go all in with his money on November 1.Good luck to him. He's been good for the club and we have a few good halves. He'll love it up there - over a mill tax free and treated as a hero. It'll be an experience. He will still give his all for the Tigers this year and next.
Meanwhile, the Tiges could do with the freed-up money to retain the Mays, Bula and the Fainus.
Whilst I have said I am not too fussed with him moving on in 2028, what does concern me is if it was our favourite debenture holders and their incompetence that has pushed him out the door. If it is them than I don't like our chances of retaining too many of our favourite players after 202
Yep. I reckon every single player, coach, and assistant will leave. If we lose them then what do we have left mate? We were onto a good thing. Now we are back to the scrapheap.
This isn't about just Luai...
Its the bigger implications...
Have you ever said no to a payrise?1.2 mill a year is hardly struggle st in Sydney... He is also guaranteed a lucrative post playing media gig..... People trying to make out he is a poorper living under the poverty line on minum wage .....
