I was gonna say team culture, but on 1.2 a year, that’s not good enough. He rarely brings it on the field. Played out of his skin the first game of the year at Leichhardt, but that’s it. Can’t think of a single game he’s won for us. He’s given us about a quarter of what Api has at double the salary.

im expecting a late season surge ,its all a learning curve for them,imo would be happy with a top 8 next year

Good luck finding the player who gives a million dollar performance each week prepared to play for WTs - he doesn't exist.
The point of getting Luai was to attract other players to the club exactly what PNG are doing.
He was never going to live up to his dollar value as an individual and is always going to be the obvious target when we lose.

Murray to start at hooker with Jock coming off the bench. Just tell Jock to make his tackles, dont give penalties away and use your brain out of dummy half....immediate improvement Hope. Also gives us a kicking option out of dummy half

Murray isn't the answer, unless of course, the question is either him or Hope.

Sad to say, but all halves would struggle with Tristan at nine, and Richo effed up badly with his salary cap mathematics needs for hooker. Api has been on fire this year and was sorely missed today, the result of a tackle that he had little to no control over.

I hear you. We have lost our spine. I get Benji calling more effort. A team like ours starting from point Zero then losing our spine is more then a hard luck story. It is Fact. We are better but we are not there yet. We ARE coming though!!!!!!!!!

we need Luai untill AD comes back, I know we have Latu but im not confident he is the answer, I would say he still needs alot of development, once ADis back Luai to the bench and Latu to get some time with Javon in NSW cup. Javon is too young, dont want to ruin his development

Definitely not saying he is the answer, just our only other option other than Hope. Not sure what else we can do. Murray will tackle strongly, he has nice hands and I would back him to have more brains than Hope

He’s not worth 1.2M on the field but he’s still our best 6 by a long long way and there isn’t a 6 in the world that would look good in today’s team.

Pointless discussion letting him go early because it doesn’t gain us anything.

Madden however proved he’s nothing more than a good backup 7.

Other than telling them to harden the f up, what else can he do? Even Joey Johns would've had a tough time getting a performance out of our marshmellow middles.

And if your argument is that he's on $1.2M and is eating up our cap, well he's gone after next year and we do have a decent roster when fully fit, so it's hardly an argument. And without spending that money most of the good players on our roster wouldn't even be here right now, or they'd be on massive overs.

Doesn’t count as a missed tackle if you don’t lay a hand on them. This happened to Madden a couple of times. His kicking had been good up until today, but today it was shocking.

Neither defended well, but that was more down to losing the middle.

Madden's bombs were way off the mark. He was kicking them from 30m out and landing them about 15m away from the try line. I'd expect even flegg kickers to get that right.

makes me laugh that some on here think we can upgrade all the good ones with Jaromes parting money ,unless its ,which it s a juggling act to manage the cap , what money do we have to replace him with .
