Nobody is saying that we lost because of the ref , but 2 things can be true at the. Same time, last week the dogs got 7 6 agains to our 0 and this week that dog of a ref atkins gave them a restart when absolutely NOTHING happened in the ruck , nothing ,, Penrith were a class above but should still be referees to the same standard as us .. so many other fans see it as well , the Titans also get dog calls , I don’t support them but I can still se that they get rorted by the refs week in week out .. it. Mate, I hear ya and understand what you’re saying but unfortunately that’s the system we’ve got and no matter how much coaches, players and fans complain it will continue to happen to those perceived lesser clubs. I have noted 2 things this year, 1) when we won a few we seemed to be getting a lot friendlier calls, and 2) Ciraldo was still blaming the refs even after getting those multiple 6 again last week.
My take, win more and work your way up the ladder and things ( should) get a little friendlier. Lose more and the ref is a major part of the discussion.
The answers a pineapple TNK. Maybe as I get much older I have put away my ref angry approach and just gone with the flow. But believe there was a time when I was searching for the refs car in the LO carpark and was thinking of torching it ( only kidding) so I get where you’re coming from.

You just proved where the problem lies ,- it's not the individuals. Luia earned the right to be a player that clubs targeted - he is 4 time premiership winner.
This is a team sport and this club consistently has failed at assembling squads that are capable of playing finals footy.

I think part of that is they don’t really know the type of players needed for that.
But Cleary, Bennett, Bellamy, McGuire do hence their success.

Players want to play for those clubs because of their success which makes those coaches recruiting and retention much easier. But even the great Bellamy was on the back of a 5 game losing streak when he didn't have the calibre of players to draw from that Melbourne was used to.
The only reason we have attracted players in recent times is because of Benji and at a monetary cost. As a club we still are suffering from years of failure and days like today are two steps backwards in terms of changing the loser perception associated with the club and questions Benji's ability to turn things around. And it gets no easier next week. Terrible day for the club and team.

The prank on the team mates happened,they thought they were going to PNG for a second....afterwards Jerome was saying he was sitting there thinking whats going on im in recruitment and i dont know anything about this. You do realise that some fans discussing some points of the game on a fan forum does not actually influence the way the team plays ?? Tuck , you do get that ? Us posters are not on the coaching staff ? That we can say “ hey that decision was crap” and it can be crap and we can think that without us in any way thinking that it cost us the game or that we shouldn’t be able to still defend it or that we want to overcome it but still the decision was wrong ? Difference is to me that the Tigers were terrible , have some serious problems to fix, were beaten by a much better team but still copped terrible decisions like Alamotti changing his line and shoulder charging Makasini off

The thing is not getting those penalties changes the momentum of the game.

Geyer is a mere grabber and flopper with no aggressive passion - no DNA there. Replace him immediately with Ethan Roberts.
Turuva and Makasini should be moved out to the wings - Turuva is a great finishing winger, not a centre. Makasini is too young to cop a bashing in the centres week in week out. His confidence is down as a result.
Pole looks flashy but not that effective for the past couple of seasons.
I haven’t given up - we are still a good side but we need to win games until Doueihi gets back, because Luai is an absolute self-promoting fake. It’s embarrassing the difference in remuneration between Luai and Doueihi.

Genuine star players make can easily make a few sub standard depth players around them look ok and play to an acceptable standard.
We don’t have any star players, the only thing that makes them believe they are star players is their pay packets.

Luai is not worth what he is being paid.
And to add to that , the amount he is being paid
is weighing heavily on him and it is reflecting on the
way he is and has been playing for us.
If he left tomorrow it would not bother me one bit.
But unfortunatelly we are stuck with him for next year.
Idealy what i would like to see the club/Benji do is bleed Javon Andrews
into first grade from now until Luai leaves , getting him ready for years to come..

Saying we are stuck with players like Jarome Luai is exactly what is wrong with this club. You need more than one Jarome Luai to build a winning team and that attitude is the very reason the likes of the Luke Keary's and Cooper Cronks with all their wisdom never had the courage to play at a bottom club but have plenty to say about the players who do - and people listen to that crap.

I'm surprised at all the recent condemnation of Luai, you could see he was stuffed halfway through last year, off the field great but his on field performances have been poor.

Don’t think Luai would ever play Reggie’s.
If he is excluded (!which I also doubt will ever happen) it will be for some trumped up injury.
