OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

‘The Tigers had reservations about Luai’s third party commitments with PNG-based companies despite being contracted to the club next season’ daily telegraph.

“It’s a cloud that would’ve likely hung over Jarome’s head,” Mielekamp said.

Danny weidler on Triple M also spoke about these 3rd party deals and he needed to start servicing next year which Tigers not happy about.
Yeah that’s not cool

I don’t see him leaving as a bad thing at all. However, we seem to be in a loop of making one player the scapegoat, and once they are gone, watch out. Brooks, Galvin and now Luai. Groundhog Day.
Luke was with us for 10 years, however he was poorly coached and managed. He’s now finally found some better form at Manly under Foran.

Galvin and his family are banking on his potential at the Dogs, while Luai wants to go straight to the bank and cash his cheques in with the Chiefs.

Luai is a very astute businessman. The big dollars rule his business decisions.
He knows his football ability is less than the dollars on offer.
Who can't see that?
True. The WTs being astute in wanting him to depart and use the $ elsewhere. One can only speculate as to how much pressure there is now on Perth and PNG to sign players.

Great way to finish the week, and an excellent decision to punt him.

Jarome has proven to be an actor who can't play the lead role or stay true to his word.

He's been more interested in promotional deals than playing good footy.
Well you don’t think Ivan let him go thinking he had any good football left in him !

He might be heading back to Penrith on a lighter pay pack , we'll chip in a small amount for 1 year and then he sets off to the Chiefs.

I actually hope that he goes to the Bears next year before he pushes on to the supposed PNG paradise.

While I was in my first year at uni, I lived in Cammeray and went to a few Bears games at North Sydney oval. I remember Taylor still playing and the Bears pulling our pants down that day.

I’m pretty sure they won by more than 50 points because my girlfriend and I left early and went to Percy’s for a conciliatory beverage.

While that experience wasn’t great, I’m really happy that the Bears are back.

I’d be frothing at Luai and Moses halves if I was a Parra fan. He might not do much here but don’t forget Penrith and previous origin form with Moses

Add TDS, Smith, Iongi, etc they look good
Real good…
How’s their back row, centre, winger stocks looking?

Fox sports saying we're chipping in up to half, bloody hell thought $400 was fair $600 is stretching the friendship. Great work Richo i hope you didnt structure other contracts similarly.
