This is where the club released a public statement which they should have kept privately (although probably tried to get on the front foot ahead of Isaac Moses) about Galvin rejecting the offer. The day after is an SMH story leaked by Moses about the dossier Galvin showed to Benji. What his teammates know or don't know in this story is unknown. Consequently, the day after Luai and Turuva bag Galvin online with Luai having a subtle team first post likely referring to a young Galvin's whether rightly or wrongly assessment of the face and soul of the club. Turuva's money reference is a bit more puzzling given Galvin is turning down big money. This then leads to alleged 'bullying' allegations. Again, we live in 2026 an bullying can be defined by different people but under the one common definition it is repeated harassment. Key word 'repeated'. Is the team first post harassment? Hardly. The money money one from Turuva? Perhaps. But it was posted privately and leaked. The bullying allegations are ultimately the leverage Galvin and Moses have against the Tigers to finally break out of contract and sign with the Bulldogs after a private meeting with Gus "Never met Galvin" Gould.

You can definitely blame the Luai distraction for a poor season compounding off the back of key injuries to key players all at a similar time after round 8, however it is not one man's fault for particularly senior players playing very poor week to week.

Another question is why hasn't Payne Haas been blamed for the Broncos going from premiers to 16th this year? Lost the world club challenge and their first 2 games. Then go on a bit of a winning run like the Tigers did. And then completely fall off mid season. Yes the obvious answer is Haas is playing better than Luai but both are leaving their clubs and both have had rough seasons. Both have had their clubs mutually agree to their departures.

There has been quite a bit of talk on NRL 360 about Haas’ departure amongst a host of other things destabilising the Broncos season. Most notably them asking why he decided to leave, Haas has been silent. There was the Tapau sacking last year for liking a post that criticised Madge, Reece Walsh has just done the same thing over the Adam Reynolds snub. The Broncos have had lots of issues, Haas leaving is just one.

Sheens had a penchant for throwing players lifelines at the arse-end of their career when they should have probably given it away, or at the very least we should have steered clear.

Bateman, Moodie, Anasta come to mind.

Your post is interesting as it raises the issue of clubs needing to manage their playing roster well in the response to the current market demand. No club wants to upset its playing group with the prospect of losing star players. When rosters include players with strong personalities, it is going to require Bennett or Cleary level player management skills to oversee. That's where I believe we have an advantage with Marshall as coach especially with his strong relationship with Bennett. He comes across as a good player manager, offering us an advantage for the future..

Quick question though? Our board is unstable, our club is unsuccessfull. 100% so i totally get wanting the clauses. But P.N.G are a whole new team who havnt even competed yet, with no real boardroom right now. Does he have clauses in his deal with them incase he or his family hate living there and its not working out. No. Why not. Why clauses in his contract for us who are established, allowing him to play where his family is established and are much more stable than a team that doesnt really exist yet. Because the new franchise was always the end goal and we were being used as a stop over lounge. Thats why he wanted clauses every year after the second one. They knew P.N.G was coming but used the money we were givong him as insurance he would be financially looked after for upto 5 years if the P.N.G gig was put off. Otherwisehe he would have put clauses into the P.N.G contract like he did with us. Seeing as how weve had more success than the P.N.G team and we are an established team. When i asked myself the question about him having the clauses in our contract and not the P.N.G contract i realised hes a germ. I hope his family hate living up there and he is miserable. All he is good at doing is talking garbage. Sooner the germ is gone the better.

Are you his agent? he probably does have clauses lol.. the media just doesn't care to report it because he's not playing for the Tigers anymore..
If PNG struggle I'm sure it will be reported that he had clauses in case the club struggles etc etc

I'm just calling a spade a spade. If he had excelled this year, I would have been his biggest supporter, especially because of how many games my family have been to.

The reality is his stats for a $1.2m player are really poor, and that can't be denied.

I wish him the best, but as I said before, I believe he is highly overrated and can't lead a team.

I'm not the only person that thinks this. I hope he improves my perception this weekend with a win.
