I honestly think Jett Clearly is planned to play 5/8 for Penrith with his brother at 7 very good young player some.say just as good as Nathan at the same age
 
Don’t like the way he plays- he’s a cheap shot specialist. Also his big play is to throw 3-4 big steps in at the ad line avoiding getting tackled and then pass the ball back 10 metres to someone who doesn’t want it. He has no real long kicking game and I especially hate the way he mouths off. He’s definitely not been as good without Kikau next to him.
(P.S. just read what I wrote…does seem I really don’t like him much!!)

I think Ivan Clearly is being diplomatic talking about Luai to not upset the squad letting people know we tried but realistically they have no chance to keep him not with the cash they splashed on the fullback and the 3 forward's they have a strong core of players to help the guys coming in and making there debut

Ivan probably is being diplomatic as he knows he won't be able to keep everyone, however i still think we would be zero chance of getting him.We would be far more likely to getting a young bloke from their lower grades who wants a chance like Bore did as there would be a few gems there

Probably FA but I’m just speculating not confirming.
If Luai goes then Penrith need a new 5/8. Now they may say Edwards could be the answer closer to the ball. Then they need a fb and they have just signed Laurie.
So 2 and 2 can make 4. Unlikely, yes, but this is a forum where we share thoughts and ideas.
Something to keep an eye on next year.
