Luai strutting his stuff*, outpacing a Parramatta nr7 of repute.

Penrith are smart to wave the 10 day cooling off period and take the stress of Luai.

Can we learn a lesson from Cronulla please? Stealth signings are awesome. The way they have poached AFB under peoples noses is total class. No leaks, no reveals, no dramas. I suspect AFB may be tempted like Dale Finucane and want to play into his late 30's. Cronulla do advertise their injury management and I suspect that helped lure him across. ...

I don’t think there is anything new in that article. It’s quotes from before Christmas where the same info was reported.

Only new info is he’s expected to return to training on Thursday, so you’d hope something is announced before then.

I know the article says that at the start but then they later change the language to "prepared to waive it":

I don't think it's cap space. I think we are on the rise, the dogs are still in the rebuild.

Luai is a big fan of benji and supported the Tigers when he was young.

Luai kept Burton from 6 all those years. Here, he could play 6 or 7 without blocking any one.

We have the better facilities, we're central and of course, were better supporters.

Our blokes always find a way into the media for post footy jobs.

Even if the dogs paid more, i think he would be here.
we're also another big cat team and represent the true western sydney heartland of Campbelltown (similar to Penrith)
 
trust Penrith to leak AGAIN that they've waived the 10 day period now the contract has been lodged and spoiling what would've been an announcement (somewhat) out of the blue.

the fact that we've been completely quiet is a welcome change. hoping for an official announcement in the next few days. we're getting closer, ladies and gents.

Definitely sounds like they are even starting to question what the hold up is. And if it is to get out of this years contract, like you said they are making that clear at least publicly that isn’t happening

And that's fair enough! Don't think it would
be in the best interests of either club even
if he wanted an early release tbh. It's now
going to be a shoot out with our halves
to see who will partner him in 2025. I like
the fact that Sezer is on a 1 year deal too,
he'll want to play his ass off and show the
league he's still got it in the hopes for 1
more contract elsewhere. Still only 32. I
think we're in a really good place currently,
Luai will help our recruitment drive for '25
too which bodes well. We were due some
sort of luck. Hoping Jarome is the catalyst
