I reckon Blocker’s commentary has improved in the last few years, he used to say some really dinosaur stuff and blatantly incorrect stuff but he’s more refined now, they may have given him some extra media training.

Interesting, does fit the time line. Also would make sense with the comments surrounding he telling close friends he is leaving Penrith. If this is the case, it’s this period now where Penrith can counter with their own offer. Could just be a formality now if Penrith can’t up their years and get a bit of extra cash by way of a third party.

There is a new system in place where the NRL is informed that a player is willing to accept an offer, the current club has a 10 day period to negotiate with the player to retain him. At the end of the 10 days the player is free to choose either club.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if that is where the situation with Luai currently stands. The Wests Tigers have made an offer that Luai has indicated he is happy to accept and the NRL has been told, we could be in the 10 day period where Panther are allowed to negotiate to retain him. Pure speculation on my part though.

That’s what I said a couple days ago. Cause he said he’d let his teammates know by 8/12 at the same time we made the official offer. So I thought the only reason to delay in telling his teammates would be if he had to.

I think Sonny Bill is the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to natural born deadshit dumbarses….on all of television.
I have no doubt that someone has fitted him with an earpiece at some stage in early life that has played a consistent loop saying “breathe in…breathe out” He is that stupid.

I know plenty of blokes who can’t stand him as a commentator but I am the same as you I can relate. Maybe its just my fondness of him from his playing days but I don’t mind Blocker. Most commentators will say some stupid things like “they would love to score here”. Think most teams would love to score anytime.
