I reckon they will miss Crichton big time this coming season. Best centre in the comp - defensively and in attack. A top drawer centre is much harder to replace than a 40 minute, impact edge forward or a handy bench utility.
Could not agree more, Critter was the guy who came up with the big plays both in attack and defence when Riff were rattled. I have him pretty close to Junior Jaw when it comes to importance. He will lift the Dogs this year, how far is the big question

Morris is actually the defence coach.

Farah the attack coach.

Heighington the specialist forwards and effort areas coach.

Benji overseeing it all + organising the way they play as a whole.
Spot on.

Farah has already taken down David Furner, as an Attack coach I reckon he can bring down Benji if he can catch him.

Unsure on Morris, I think he will have his work cut out for him. Expect them both to be black and blue after that. I also reckon Heighington is probably going to land on top. That said, Farah can put up a fight.

Oh yea.

Penrith though will have people coming in, it's just Crichton demonstrated that he was a center that could have outstanding moments. Not GI, but like GI in that the game moves on and he just does his stuff. But when the opportunity gives him an opening, he takes it and makes the other team pay.

A top deck player and exactly what we need (and are not getting) in our backline.

Honestly I don't know what I'd rather. Getting a decision now that Luai is staying at Penrith or hearing he is coming to Tigers later in 2024
I’m a bit the same. There was a quote of Luai’s online stating he is torn between two dominant motivations.
Winning, or spending more time with his family?
We can interpret that anyway. I think it rules out getting a pub. But does it translate to Tigers = more family time? Fatter bank account?

I'd say it's pretty likely that something will leak in the next day or two regarding Luai's decision on his future. he's back at training on Friday, if it's true he wants his future in order by then you'd have to think it is close.

So does that mean he’s not coming here with the motivation of actually trying to turn us into a winning team? That’s a worry.
