Jason Cayless

Its hard to know what to make of what Nathan said. After he mentioned Jason's meeting, Robbo chimed in mentioning Lima, Galloway etc along with Cayless in a mouth watering sort of way and Nathan came across like Jason would be with us. But he was probably just going along with the interview.

Umm. Tuqiri would be the best back in our team if he signed…??? 😕

As good as some of our young players might be, Tuqiri is a proven talent at all levels of league and union.

Cayless if he's on less than 150k might be ok if he's still fit enough.

Lima? Absolutely worth it.

How old is Jason Cayless?

He was injured this year, but is there good reason to believe he will not be fit next year?

Currently 29\. Will be 30 by the time next season comes round (D.O.B 15 January 1980 according to Wikipedia)

Apprently he is pretty much ours…. thats according to Andrew Voss on the footy show... although RObbie didn't say anything to deny it... If this is true along with Lima... the tigers have picked up some great players for next season, a real mixture of youth in Brown, Taumata, Daniella and Moors as well as the experience of Cayless and Lima (hopefully) and Fulton coming back... the depth as well as the impact shoould be getting the tigers into the top 8.... put it this way no excuses next year if we sign all these players!

looks promising but as for no excuses well….. I can see it now.

The coach, should have kept Gallant, poor goal kicking, missing Galea's defence, the Coach, Tigers can't play in the wet, the Coach, sack Sheens and Roycie, put Folkes in charge, Benji's not a half back, Moltzen not a fullback. Can't wait for next year

Well seeing as though Lui is in the top 25… he'll be Halfback next season and Moltzen to fullback UNLESS we somehow snag Turqiri. I thought we beat Melbourne at Liechardt in the wet or am i dreaming?? Galea's defence will be subsidised by the big props coming into the team,Lima and Cayless can both hit as well as Junior Moors. Cayless can be a great buy if we somehow get him for cheap, does anyone know how much we are planning to pay him?? and how are we going to fit these guys into a starting 17 😱pen_mouth:

Lui is no certainty to play half next season. Taumata will be pushing very hard and apparently has the inside running at this stage. No idea what Cayless is worth or what we are prepared to pay him.

If we get Cayless and Lima we will have some decent depth in the front row for a change.

I really think Taumata will be a better player than Lui and his combination with Benji, Robbie and Moltzen could be lethal to say the least. Quick great ball player and not afraid to take on the line… could be a great coup.... but if we do get Cayless with all reports suggesting we pretty much have...whats the foward pack going to look like... will he and Lima as well as moors and flanagan fit into the top 17?

Why we so excited about Cayless, he's been there done that, so to speak, been out of town too long..Promote the state cup players..
