Jason Taylor vs Robbie Farah: Better Career?

Both players played in a different era.
I can assure you the game wasn't soft when JT played and for a little man he was good. Tough as nails.
You can't really take those players stats and compare them.
It really was an Apple's to Oranges comparison but good try on trolling the forum.

never seen JT play but at his best, robbie was so so devastating.

the line breaks he made from DH, tries he set up with kicks and passes, 40/20s etc. 2007-2012, he was an absolute beast.

The one key stat is that Farah played for Australia and JT didnt. Thats why JT didnt like him from the start lol.

Then why does JT like Aaron Woods ?

Or Lawrence?
Nice work.

I was going to say Lawrence myself, but then wondered whats the point. Felt like an adult getting sucked into an argument with a child by responding. Like this thread in general really.

Here's a fun fact, only 5 current coaches actually played for Australia and you can actually discount Bennett (only played a tour match) and Green (Super league).

I don't believe Farah made that comment to Taylor, but just imagine if he said it to Bennett, Bellamy, Henry, Robinson and….Maguire?

Lodge made a comment to his then coach Bellamy and we know what then happened to Lodge's career at Melbourne. Bellamy was so incensed he sent Lodge to Wests Tigers.

Wow, if you both took that comment as anything but tongue in cheek then you have an iq of a 5 year old child.

You were never much of a joker when it comes to the Taylor bashing so I don't blame them for taking it seriously.

It's a perfect comeback and completely true. A bit like
Steve Walters asking Elias during a SOO game
"what are you doing on the weekend, I've got a Test to play"

And Robbie wouldn't have had to tell the other coaches that, as they are real Coaches,
Not a shadow of one

Thanks 'tigersman', great thread. Up to three pages already! Encapsulates the forum nicely. Can we compare their shoe sizes next?

Taylor was probably the one of the slowest halvesthat I've ever seen.
But he made up for it with his ability to use his head on the field, he also was able to take a lot of punishment on the field and keep on going,
He was one of the best kickers at that time as well, and was able to hold his spot for the last few years by his kicking alone,
Surprisingly , he didn't get on to well with coaches as The Wok would verify, and I can't remember the other Coach that he couldn't get on with. Might have been Norths Coach, peter Louis ?
He wasn't gifted with some skills like other halves, but used every bit of the ones that he had.
I thought that he would be great for our halves and supported his appointment when he came here, but he has been a bigger disappointment than Malcolm Turnbull.

Turnbull was a blusterer the first time and more so the second time - a flat balloon he is. Now on topic, Robbie's career impresses me more, I remember Taylor playing for maggies, good for sure but not brilliant. It was the goal kicking he was famous for. Farah carried the true Tiger colours when he reciprocated to Antony Watts.
