Jeff Robson is a competant half but lets see how good he is once Carney mucks up

I raised this post 2 months ago and again I firmly believe we stuffed up by not recruiting this guy, especially as we knew Lui was gorne…Robson is EXACTLY the sort of halfback we need...a n organising half who has vision and who will compliment a running 5/8 in Benji Marshall....Look at how he and Carney have combined this year...Cronulla are on fire and it's due to their attack...Robson makes Carney look good as Carney can sit and pick and chose when to chime into the game/attack....Just like Benji used to do with Lui...This year we have seen a very subdued Benji and it's because Sheens HAS NOT recruited a decent Half to be his(Benji's) foil....as a result Benji MUST get involved in every play and try and direct the attack round and NOT play his natural game!..Notice how our attack is a shadow of what it was and how quite Benji is this year...for a pitance and some intelligent recruiting we could be a team on song with our lethal attacking weapons firing on all cylinders...instead as we dont have an organising half we are spluttering along.....

Exactly the style of halfback that compliments benji's style and gives him the room he needs whilst directing the team around… Has a good brain and a good kicking game... Why didnt we snap him up from parramatta?

Because we had settled on Rob Lui and he was controlling the side very well.

We let Lui go well before Robson signed with the Sharkies

Okay Robson was not available when we needed a no7,but he is the sort of no7 we need now
. Shane Perry did the same job for the Bronks in a star studded line up a few years ago. Iam afraid our guru of a coach will have a better solution by swapping ten players around and playing them all out of position and giving them a different role to play every set. The Sharks are going well because they have kept it simple!!!!!!

Robsons a very good halfback if he isn't the main play maker

He would be perfect for benji, however as said he was signed before the lui drama
