Our Ball team aren’t great man…plus they are young. The team should look vastly different in a month or so when SG Ball finishes up for Wests....well I hope a lot of our higher rated ones get a crack anyway!
Solomone Saukuru and Fa'agutu are in the older age bracket and should be straight in at the end of the season. Would expect Da Silva, Kit Laulili'i and Jordan Miller to be a good chance of having a crack too. Maybe Zakurai Clarke who is in the older age bracket and a handy 2nd row goal kicker. They don't need to come in and dominate Flegg, but the experience will be valuable. Our Ball team aren’t great man…plus they are young.
Doubt many will walk into Flegg.
Yeah they’re all the names that people drop when talking about our talented juniors.Solomone Saukuru and Fa'agutu are in the older age bracket and should be straight in at the end of the season. Our current Flegg side don't have too many prospects that will push for further representation down the track which is why we should see more SG Ball players given a shot. The 5/6 mentioned above plus Sukkar and Feledy from Balmain should be in Flegg for the season.
Players like Galvin, Mason, Craig will probably be held off for another year.
And you've watched them how many times?Yeah they’re all the names that people drop when talking about our talented juniors.
I’m not impressed by them so far with the exception of DaSilver. All those forwards are pretty over rated when they come up against a decent pack.
We’ll see I suppose.
Those you mentioned will all play Flegg. Ordinarily they'd already be playing Flegg. Age is irrelevant once your 18. If you're good enough you progress.Solomone Saukuru and Fa'agutu are in the older age bracket and should be straight in at the end of the season. 3.And you've watched them how many times?
They'll be in fg late next year 25 at the latest3.
They are good as far as this club goes.
Compared to the competition, some hold their own. None really stand out bar Da Silva.
Can’t see any of them playing consistent first grade until 2027-28.
If that’s true, we are in big troubleThey'll be in fg late next year 25 at the latest
This just isn’t accurate.3.

Go watch other teams play then compare them to our lot. This just isn’t accurate.
Da Silva, Saukuru, Galvin have all been among the best in their positions in the competition.
Miller has been quite good too.
You’re not taking into account that the entire core of this side is in their first year of Ball.
Think you’re being a bit harsh, as KingRobbie pointed out most of our guys have just made the step up from Harold Matt’s to SG Ball whereas most of the squads are playing 2nd year.Go watch other teams play then compare them to our lot.
I have done so and ours are reasonably ordinary.
That’s fine. Stop telling us they are great. It is not accurate at this stage.Think you’re being a bit harsh, as KingRobbie pointed out most of our guys have just made the step up from Harold Matt’s to SG Ball whereas most of the squads are playing 2nd year.

You need to remember this side doesn't have a noted playmaker. The top sides at this level all have a dominant halfback that controls matches. Keppie is decent, Galvin a talented utility but none are that dominant half who helps take the team to the next level.3.

Prophesising about when players will be able to step up is pointless too but 5 years is absurd. We'll know if they're first graders in the next few years
No. Only Balmain players will get promoted, and those with potential already have been.Anyone know if any of our SG boys will lineup for Flegg this week seeing as they have a week off before finals?
gives me the shits. Kenna constantly favours the Balmain side of the ledger and ignores the Wests side unless its for Matamua or another freak of nature. we'll be lucky to see any other players besides Fa'agutu and Da Silva unless Sheens overrules him in terms of Miller, Laulili'i, Saukuru, Clarke, Lene, Tavana and Galvin.No. Only Balmain players will get promoted, and those with potential already have been.
