I like our forward pack for Flegg. Good to see Nicholas back and Zac Clarke for the remaining time we have left. Last time we played the bunnies they couldn’t stop our forwards and we put 40+ on them

Look forward to seeing how Kanaan goes on the wing too. Thinking they may rotate him & Tavana into fullback during the game.

It’s frustrating I think for Vaihu they just wanted to fit him in so they put him in at the expense of Fangavalu Hammond who imo has been great for our Flegg team. Not sure about Willett but I hear Herman’s injured and maybe gone for the rest of the season

Willett did his hamstring a couple of weeks back. Unsure of severity.

Clarke throws an offload that could have been points but was dropped by Hodges. Bunnies then get a 6 again on halfway and go down to score from a simple barge over try. Down 14 to 10 now. 9 mins until half time.

Clarke with a classy pass to put Te Umuiarike through the line and Liles backs up inside to score under the sticks. We regain the lead. 16 to 14. 3 to go until ht.

Worst possible start to 2nd half. A bouncing kick eventually gets collected from Bunnies off the kick off. The player then runs 85metres before Liles pulls off a trysaver. Rabbits get a penalty 2 tackles later. Then score at the end of the next set off another scrappy grubber. 20 all.

Johannssen makes nice metres on another carry. Next play we shift right and Taoutua finishes the job in the right hand corner. Very topsy turvy game this one. Up 24 to 20.
