@Demps that Mavoni vid is a different sort of highlights clip. What's that all about?

Just some street dramas I assume.
LOL.

The 046 dude is some rapper.
Punching on over something....

We need to find if 046 can play footy. Park him in the forwards. Anyone brave enough to take on Mavoni in a fistfight could easily take a hitup against the Daniel Alvaros of the world.

046 is a crew.

Wests Tigers and Roosters played out an 18-18 draw...WT led 18-0 at the break.

Lucky not to lose as the Chooks scored 4 tries to 3, but the WT obviously had to overcome nearly 3/4 of their side being elevated to the KOE last night.

We do however move to the top of the table, 1 point clear of Penrith who lost to the Dragons a few weeks ago.

Very good effort considering most of them played last night

Becoming a bad habit leading and then letting the other lot back in. Still a decent result all things considered.

Incorrect. The only player backing up was Mavoni. And he only played 15 mins last night.

This was an awful performance. Once again letting a big lead disappear. 18-0 and in complete control and then the Roosters came out firing in the second half and we once again imploded.

Really we looked a rabble, very disorganised. One great try to hill before the break but otherwise there was nothing to get excited about.

The Roosters had About 80% possession in the second half. I think we completed about 2 or 3 of our ten sets. Disgraceful. Zero intensity and so many lazy and careless plays.

Rizk replaced Dillon and came up with one of the worst flegg performances I've ever seen. Made about 6 errors, 4-5 missed tackles. Looked to have zero confidence. He certainly dropped the ball more than he caught it.

Mavoni had some solid runs but gets gassed so easily, barely lasts 15 mins and gets sloppy in defence.

Alexander dropped a flat ball to crash over the line when we were up 18-8, could have finished the game off. Roosters went length of the field next set.

In the end fatigue was huge due to the number of errors we made and the repeat sets and penalties we conceded. They played with intensity in the second half and deserved to win. Ronald Volkmann man of the Match. Pulled the strings second half. Their sideline conversion hit the post To leave scores level.

We had one chance of a field goal but Ngati ran and got tackled and took too long to pay the ball so the field goal attempt was flagged off but got charged down anyway.

Thanks for the info.
Why are they having 2nd half lapses?

Cheers for the info mate. I just assumed they would have backed up, but yeah being only a day since they last played it was probably a bit unrealistic

With the young teams, you will get inconsistent performances.

So true. Just ask Tim Sheens.

That Dragons game would have taken a lot out of them, it was a big clash and the Dragons are always great. Great talent in the Illawarra?

Of course, but this is an extremely worrying pattern. They should have won comfortably, but this team just has a really slack attitude. We need to teach our boys to be winners, to go for the jugular. When you're winning by 20 to try win by 40. Keep your opponents to nil etc.

Practically every single game we've had a big lead then shut up shop, made a heap of careless mistakes and allowed the opposition to have a chance to win. Sure we haven't lost, but Twice we've drawn. It's About mental toughness, our players throughout the grades are exceptionally weak in this regard.

We need to build a culture of discipline, excellence and hard work. Like the Panthers have, that's why they're killing us in every grade

I think you'll find we are ahead of the Panthers in Flegg.

Panthers lost to the Dragons who we defeated the previous week. The Dragons are a good side and we trounced them.

So we won a game two weeks ago and that was why we could only draw this weekend? Don't see any correlation there when we had a bye just week and should be fresh.

Yes I do realise that. We've drawn twice, they've drawn once. Point is they don't choke almost every single week. When they win they win fairly comfortably, in comparison to our heart attack form .

All in all still in a good position, but we have to improve 100% on an individual and collective level

No. The Dragon's game was a very physical game. The result in the Panther's game indicates they are a genuine threat. It took a lot out of a young team which can be inconsistent.

I was at the game and like you, horrified at another "take the foot off the throat" performance.

I'm not sure what is going on with our left edge but if you analyse our results closely this year over 85% of tries are coming from down that side. Our stats apparently showed on Friday night we missed over a whopping 60 tackles! Clearly not acceptable if we are aspiring to finals footy assuming we get there.

Not too much to note other than Hill solid, Perry his usual tough self with good, hard run metres, Felix Smith showed why he is a valued workhorse (great to see him back), I see the other Schmidt made 35 tackles from the NSW app.

It also showed Scolari ran 153 metres (without getting the ball apart from hit ups), was solid all night under the high ball getting above the opposition with good hands and plenty of tackles with one 'jamm' shutting down an opposing centre play in an aggressive hit.

I felt for Rizk who was in my opinion clearly feeling nerves given his only chance of the season thus far with Dillon out. He is far better than that. Alexander had a hand injury & should have gone off before he blew that try down the right edge.

Much work to do! We have a good side but to get to the finals and win a comp, we need to fix a number of areas. Good news is there is still time to fix the problem.
