How’d Dillon go?
@walter said in [Jersey Flegg v Manly](/post/1345343) said:Actually Dillon scored one with blinding speed and one with freakish footwork. He has possibly one of the best right foot steps I’ve seen in a long time, he also made a couple of poor mistakes today. Scolari I thought was excellent today, he is a competitor, and just doesn’t make mistakes. Mavoni went ok, he has some dumb moments where he puts on late shots and gives away a penalties . But this side could literally win some games by fifty they simply do not use the ball effectively in attack, they run a lot of one out stuff in the middle third of the park.

How’d Dillon go?
3 pieces of individual brilliance between him and Scolari - 2 tries each. Dillon scored two tries with blinding speed whilst Scolari continually outjumped his opposing winger and fullback to score a try on the take to bring it around under the posts.

No but you made me laugh. I think you may have me confused for someone else but if you followed the games as closely I have, you would understand why I push Dillon. He’s not the leading try scorer in Flegg and an attendee of NRL training off season for nothing. He is super quick in a bit of a Dufty mode and has ability.
I sat next to a player agent scout who commented on the talent our JF boys have right across the side. Dillon was certainly one of those mentioned.
Not that our supporters would know. Here we are, one of the few shining lights this team brings to the club yet no updates on Twitter or even a match report.
Pure laziness and stems from the top. No wonder we struggle to keep young talent after all the good work to recruit them.
The communications department needs horsewhipping.

I don't disagree with what you are saying - having the Flegg team play at an alternate ground on game day probably doesn't help, but the WT Media department should be planning around this. This team has the talent to take out the comp if they can put 80 minutes of football together and there's a few players who potentially could make the step to FG over the next couple of years with the right training and development.

Agree Willow but if you look at some of the other clubs' websites, they certainly give more coverage than we do. I realise it's only Jersey Flegg but just a little bit of care goes a long way.
However, at the end of the day, to get noticed, the results have to be put on the board which the boys are doing so far. They need to fix this switching off in the second half business or they will get found out big time by the better sides particularly if they make the finals.
