Probably realises there are no short cuts with Madge. You either put in the work, or perish.

It was instigated by Sharks always going there.

I think it's more that he was always going to the Sharks.

What does the $2M deal come under the Cronulla beach umbrella

I actually heard Cronulla are not in any position to have offered him anything like that figure, Pooper is a bit of an exaggeration himself... aside from what Hanky is saying the good oil is that quite likely we will sign Lomax for 2021 onwards, doesn’t really get Mary...

I’d prefer him over both Scott and Ramien but feel Curtis would be the one more likely to flourish under Madge; however, Jesse seems to have the natural X-factor and only needs to iron out a few small issues... hoping if we are meeting with Ramien as early as next week to formalise an offer then he’ll likely need to wait in order to see which Sydney club is a better fit for him (lots of competition at the 🦈).

Subsequently, the interest in Ramien over Scott (for which I’m not sure the reason) should mean that poor Curtis might be waiting a fair while to get another long stint in the NRL... probably come back to Sydney for cheap! We still are badly lacking a Pinch hitting type lock/prop that has extreme fitness or athleticism who can lead the engine room up another notch to let us see the real potential of Matterson/Aloiai/Twallius

@TheDaBoss over 4 years. Tigers might have been offering that much, but I doubt for 4 years. Don't want to get burned again. I'd offer him maybe 2 years with a 1 year club favour extension. Sharks will have to offload some big money though, surely. A Moylan or a Dugan?

This is a Team that was done for salary cap breaches just last season and has like 6 players on around 4-5 mil next year... How would the NRL even consider registering this contract unless they have **already** offloaded players etc... We need to get a new accountant here at the Tigers as we clearly don't know what we are doing

How is that even possible?...There is something seriously wrong with our competition If that gets the OK from the NRL...Here’s a club Cronulla who has a history of continually flouting the NRL salary cap and are still being investigated to this date for passed indiscretions, yet our so called brains trust of the NRL are prepared to reward them by giving the OK...
And correct me if I’m wrong, but the whole idea of having a Salary Cap in the first place wasn’t it to make for a more even competition?...I still haven’t see any proof that it’s working to the benefit of all teams it’s still the same old clubs having the same old monopoly on all the top players.

Someone should ask Pooper how Koroisau is fitting in at the Dogs..

They are just following the Roosters formula.

Capwell out, Ramien in
Jayden Nikorima out, Cooper Cronk in

Like for like!

Same position, quite a fair bit different in money though, but the good old NRL lets easts, Brisbane, Cronulla and the like just keep on signing high priced recruits like there is no tomorrow.

Lomax at fullback, and Ramien or Scott in the centres would be a huge get

Was a bit disappointing Lomax made no impression on Momirovski...was overtaken by Jackson Ford...

Slow or couldn't give a rats because he plays for the Dragons..?

Not sure the salary cap will ever be even whilst TPAs are allowed.

The way the NRL allows certain clubs to use and abuse TPA just shows they never had any real intentions of having a more balanced competition anyway...

Lomax played right wing, Pearson was the winger on Momorovski's side.
