The Premier will over ride Dr Jeannette Young, if it means hosting the NRL finals.

no chance, it would be political suicide. Dr Jeanette Young would be one of the most popular people in Qld. Look at the crowd numbers they are abysmal, most people would rather have no NRL rather than be in lockdown

Yeah but QLD government changed the rules the day everyone got there and said they were no longer allowed onto the balcony and common areas etc. which wasn’t the case earlier, Also Wests Tigers tried to get someone in the room with JTJ but again we’re refused by the QLD government. It’s not all on Jimmy or the Wests Tigers.

let's call him out. where is Craig Crawford?

who you say?

Is he the only one alone (because of the contact in Sydney) or are they all alone?

If the latter, it's ludicrous as they'll be training, playing and showering together. If the former, it's a predictable issue given his past history and he should have been granted an exception to have someone with him who was also in the bubble.

Who'd have thought hanging a towel on a rail would have him hung out to dry.

As he didn't fly up with the rest of the squad he has to complete 14 days quarantine, same as the families are going through at present.

Some are alone or some are mothers with 1 or 2 of their kids with them. Benji is there with his wife and kids because he was out of the bubble for his child’s birth.

Yeah it is a pretty tough Quarantine, it was meant to be fairly relaxed but the QLD government changed the requirements 3 times on them including the day before they flew out and then again on the day after they arrived.

Surely that would have to be against all fire regulations even in a backwater like Qld

IMO They’ll come up with a compromise and come down hard on Jimmy and use him as the example.

It’s good to see Tigers response on this. I’m sure they’re doing everything they can.

In response to all the “why did the tigers take him at all with his past history etc etc” I think that it may have been better for his mental health to try and get him back in the squad. Tigers could be trying to do the right thing by Jimmy. I can see the potential harm in being left behind by himself in lockdown in Sydney. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

How hard is it your told your going to Qld keep your head down for 14days don't do anything stupid and your going to get paid as well. You can see where WT'S and Madges problems are the players just can't simple instructions on or off the field.
