So he legit just went out on the balcony… for fresh air… Jeeze the worlds gone crazy..
Fair dinkum. Rules are rules. If you want to throw a hand grenade into the competitions viability, go ahead and break them. QLD is tough on this covid thing. Everyone knows it and he is arrogant enough to thumb his nose at both those allowing the competition to run as well as all of his fellow footballers. I've stuck up for him ever since he arrived and wished him well. I now want this idiot gone.
Nrl should be kicked out.
He was also a considered a close contact of someone so wasn’t with the team .
I’m sure all other returning travellers can’t go on balconies - even without prior mental health issues they would be suffering as well .
They had to tape up their balcony doors which was noted in the papers yesterday . So he deliberately opened it up .. if he was suffering why didn’t he ask for permission .
Anyway I blame nrl and the club … if he couldn’t handle it , he should never have been sent up to qld
And if he’s having suicidal thoughts and a panic attack , which from his childhood , and abuse , he’s outlined in a few podcasts , is 100% likely, what then ?
To compare him to people entering the country ,with COVID specifically , or , coming from countries with 30,000 daily , as a minimum , is ridiculous.
The guy gets tested , almost daily , from what I understand.
The 2 week lockdown is fine , but , to have him , and those simply travelling interstate , with no symptoms , and multiple tests in the previous 2 weeks , be treated as someone returning from places like India , is draconian .
The amount of testing is the key , to why this is ridiculous .
