Jimmy the Jet

Im not sure, but I cant remember ever seeing him in space at this club. Is he even fast anymore? lol...
Made one line break and bombed a try and earned another contract from some on the forum . Fly in fly out I call him. Probably out this week.

Yep, always a bit one dimensional talent and that talent just isn’t quite there anymore.
I lot of those highlights have him busting tackles, looking for the ball, making breaks up the middle of the field....
He has other things going on in his life and he's just ringing it in for mine.
That said - He's been "Better"

No matter where you work, There are always those guys that do the least they can to get by and don't have any care factor at all - That's where he's at.

Holding his spot in the team for now but ideally would only be back up if we had better options in the centre position..

I would have Doueihi and To’a in the centres in a fully fit side..

He has been solid in D making good decisions and combining well with Nofoaluma.. in that regard..not an easy job..

Was just thinking about this the other day.

Sacked at four different clubs and had major injuries at the last two. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck..,

Luciano has been our best player this year but I still don't think we are utilising the width he provides. I wouldn't mind using his pace with an early kick in the corner. Or a very early shift. Luciano ends up being a bigger target.

I loved how we used him late in the game though. He was around the middle of the ruck waiting on offloads and trying to pick out tired forwards.

Defensively he's definitely been stronger.
Yes - I too would like to see him sniffing around the ruck more looking for one of the forwards to get his arms free for an offload.

But
under Madge has started to find his true form, may not be at the top speed yet,but defense is notable....the youth will be the benefactors of JTJ being here,,,

I hate to disagree with you so often TT. But he’s missed 2 rds out of 6 and yet to cross the stripe I believe. Showing the kids how it’s done in the pros 🙄 bellyache wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole. We need consistent professionalism

Koori boys are affected more by alcohol than white boys, their bodies haven't had thousands of years to adjust.
A lot of JTJ problem was grog and Madge knows how to help him.
I'm confident that he is on the right track and won't go walkabout.
I worried about the pokie night only because of history.
If he has his head screwed on and keeps working hard he will be a huge assett moving foward.
🤜🤛

I’m not falling into the sympathy trap. A quarter of the season has past and barely one flash of brilliance. Jimmy the jet is more of a paper plane these days.

That's not a sympathy trap Baggers, it's a fact.
If you haven't seen a glimmer of what he's capable of then you should take the blinkers off.
Considering he's not a huge salary [assumption by being on a trial train contract] even from his effort last week I'd be keen to keep him going.
Gildart hasn't found his feet so I'm glad to have Roberts in our squad.

Look we don’t have anyone better but as a centre, he’s not offering anything like the best in the Comp (Manu, Talakai, Herbie, Chrichton etc) . He’ll keep getting a jersey when he’s fit but these types of guys don’t lift us off the bottom of the ladder imo. Whilst we continue to accept less than the better teams we’ll finish where we always have.
