Check this Parramatta article about (1) the Wests Tigers player pick-ups, (2) other clubs also picking the eyes, and (3) Parra being apparently very slow in the process.

It says they "could not and should not " match our offer for Uto. That's just not true . They actually offered more in the end , he just wanted out. The real issue is something ingrained in the DNA of the club. The huge departure lounge , has more to do with parents not trusting the shady way the eels go about Thier business . It's not transparent ,
Slow to react and , as in the case of Moses and Mattison from us , Blake and RCG from the Panthers , really lacking morality.
Also in the case of Dylan Brown , it's almost as if they waited to see what his market value was... And just matched it . That doesn't fill you with much confidence as a player , that you're truely valued.
It's no surprise they've lost Thier top juniors , parents can see what we all can , and that club really has stop the underhanded , used car salesman business practices.

Geez i hate that club and their supporters. There are some who have a grasp of reality and are quite fair with their comments. However the majority are so biased its almost funny. They see no problem whatsoever with the way they got the 2 sooky Ms but cry foul when other clubs legally sign their players. To rub salt in to it they then crow that the legally signed players will break their contracts and come snivelling back. I really hope them and the pride of the league are in a fight for the spoon this year.

Mole has written this. Anyone know about this young man?

WESTS TIGERS UNEARTH LIGHTNING NO.9
The Tigers have signed a dynamic young hooker said to be as fast as the game's zippiest No.9, Damien Cook.

Local junior Jaycob Anjoul, a Lebanon under-18 international with a huge future, has committed to the Tigers for a further three years and has 'NRL' written all over him.

At 17, the club will carefully groom him and won't rush him - but mark down the name.

"He would give Cook a run for his money over 20 or even 50 metres," a Tigers source told me.

I wonder if it will take him 4 seasons to cement first grade, a la Cookie.
