He's developing nicely. Pretty big boot for such a small guy, and puts up a nice spiral bomb which neither Hastings or Brooks seem to be able to execute.

He's building in confidence and I think we need to keep him in first grade.

Apart from his kicking game please tell me what else he done other than give the Titans the game . Please all he did was pass the bloody ball , didn’t see him make any breaks or put a player throw a hole , the only reason he is getting wraps , is to put shit on brooks .

Brooks actually looked okay at 9 when Peachy was in the bin....good service and I think he put a kick in too

Mentioned it elsewhere a few weeks ago that we missed a perfect opportunity to give Brooks 40 minutes at #9 during the trials to see how he would go.

Im going to say this once more,Madden has always been considered a ressie fringe fger,most have written him off,BUT,under Madge he has started to play really well and
ALWAYS GIVES 100% AND ALWAYS PLAYS TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY.....

If we're gonna go with Madden and Hastings, I'd be playing Brooks at 14 over Peachey every day of the week.

I think your wrong BP,pay closer attention to how he works,he does what he has to do,when he played alongside Hastings in the trial after Brooks came off the team did very well and Madden looked good...as far as putting shit on Brooks,he probably deserves it,if he hadnt given that penalty away after head high tackling Thompson,then the pressure wouldnt have been on the team let alone the blame on Jock ...

I hope Madge puts Hastings at 13 on his return, leaving Brooks and Madden in the halves. If Hastings wants to get his hands on the ball he can still do that which will push our halves out another pass off the ruck.
If Madden is playing for a contract, at least give him that opportunity.

I hope Madge puts Hastings at 7 and Madden at 6. Based on this season's performances of the 3 players. That's what form justifies. Douehi is then at Centre instead of Gildart or FB instead of Laurie

we have Brooks for next year and Madden unsigned. I think club will let Madden go and stick with Brooks to accompany Hastings and douhie along with Api and Papali in 2023

Madden ran for more metres, missed less tackles and made less errors than Brooks last night. He also gained repeat sets from short kicks .

The week prior he ran for over 100m and assisted both Tigers tries. In 2 games he has double the try assists of Brooks in 4 games.

His performances have been superior than that of our highest paid player and most experienced half.
