When teh WT’s make a positive move / signing I’ll give them the kudos they deserve …James Roberts has never finished a contract …and Daine Laurie in a fringe player from another club who is only potential …the one bloke we were told was basically signed and delivered pulled the pin …same happened last year …Our best player for the 3 years has left (Grant ,Matterson and Tedesco )no matter the circumstances are

We slightly older guys are more pragmatic.

In truth we have a massive PR issue and the brand (not the logo and colours) is tarnished.

We need 2 things.... Win a few more games (street Cred) and we need our David Fafita, Kalyn Ponga to turn the recruitment tide

After taking in all sides of the argument I think I have come up with the ultimate Forum recruitment policy.
Don't buy younger players they have no experience.
Don't buy experience players they are too old.
Don't buy speedy backs they can't tackle.
Don't buy backs that can tackle they aren't fast enough.
Don't buy players who want to come here they obviously have something wrong with them.
Don't overpay them because they are only in it for the money.
Don't underpay them because other clubs will poach them.
Don't buy state of origin players because if they want to come here they obviously aren't good enough for our high standards.
Don't sign any player that a forum member doesn't like for whatever reason.
Do keep players who don't want to be here because the coach is too hard and they want more money.
So that's it. Eliminate all of the above and only sign whoever is left.

But the Roosters and Storm have all the players left that you mentioned .....

Only thing the broncs players were carrying this year was their tails between their legs. Every player was rubbish, including Joe.

Different kettle of fish next year. Fresh start, new environment and should have a point to prove.

I don't mind signing these types when their stock is down. Potential for good value if they regain form. Defs more upside than paying big bucks for JA who's only had 1/2 a good season his whole career

I think you'll find the reason Jo O didn't look good is he struggles laterally and the new game caught him out ...as we have seen your D starts from your middle 3rd and Brisbane's D was shocking ...but from the history of this Forum we've seen people never blame players ...blame the coach .....the board

People expecting Jo O to lead our forward pack ...don't blame Jo O ...remember to blame the people who signed him

Well if we are continually trying to sign the best players and they continually say no ...we must address what the problem actually is .....I haven't seen any operational changes ....so yet again the club stick its head in the sand and ignores the obvious
