JO was on $500k a season. Broncos chipping in a $100k per season for 2021 and 2022. I reckon the compensation from Manly would have been roughly $50k to bring JO’s 2021 salary down to Aloiai’s $350k. Better than nothing!

I heard broncos were chipping in 150k for 2021, and 100k for 2020, hugely likely as JO had a couple years on his contract

Genuinely interested, in what way would his play in this role be different to prop?

Personally as a lock I would give him permission to rove a little more, allow him to do dirty work in the middle but also play a little wider at times running off the halves.

That is how I would use him at lock, not necessarily how Madge will.
