Joel Reddy

Joel Reddy in his career, has scored only a few more first grade tries than Dean Collis !! And Collis doesn't even play first grade !!

No I dont think that, Collis is not a better player.

But why buy an Average first grader ?? Why ?? There are blokes playing for BRET, Maggies and the NYC who deserve a start.

But Guns or buy nothing anduse what you have bred.

Fair enough, I live in Brisbane and don't get to see the Reggies or NYC play.

I have always had a high opinion of Reddy and would prefer him over Brown and Ryan. I think playing outside Benji will help his game, certainly an improvement on Robson and Mortimer! Assuming he is not being paid a Kings Ransom he would add depth and potentially a good signing

I can't say I've ever feared Reddy when playing against the Eels. He is good in the air. In saying that he appears to be a solid player who could cover fullback, wing and centre. I don't think he is the 1st choice fullback we are after but I do rate him better than Brown and Beau Ryan on the wing.

To be fair Collis had the benefits of playing outside people like Marshall and Prince. Reddy has to deal with people like Robson and Daniel Mortimer…

Still amazed what others see in Reddy . If you were ranking him against the other 32 top centres in the NRL he would be in the bottom half dozen .

What position do you think Reddy will play , I'm sure he came to Parra as a fullback and obviously was pushed out by a certain J Hayne

I agree. He mightn't be flash but he can score a try and his defence from what I have seen is pretty good.

I am wondering where he will play though. I'd like to see Lawrence moved to 1.

That is probably true.

That is utter bull… you don't play city/country if you're one of the worst on the comp...

Ridiculous comments from people who obviously have biases rather than judging a guy on how he actually plays

Go through the centres in the NRL(starters ) and tell me who he is better than and see if you still think it is ridiculous . City and Country is a joke honestly . Really is used as a selection criteria trial isn't it Drewby . Once you have done the comparison Drewby and you can't tell me the 6 centres Reddy is better you can apologize to me and Bug for your comment .

Jack Reed, Clinton Toopi, Bodene Thompson, Joel Moon, Shaun Berrigan, Jamal Idris, Kane Linnett, Brent Tate, Brad Tighe, Ryan Morgan, Jarrod Croker, Junior Sa’u, Keith Lulia, Ben Pomeroy, Colin Best

all starting this weekend, and i'd say all apart from the dogs would swap their current centre(s) out

I remember a few years back people were saying the same things about Mitch Brown as what they're saying about Joel Reddy now.
