Joel Reddy

Heard Joel Reddy from Parramatta recently made a visit to Concord to check out the facilities. When Parra signed Sandow on big cash they had no choice but to let a few good players explore their options.
I think he would be a handy signing if he didn't cost too much.

Anyone know anything more on Reddy contract negotiations?

I hope not. I dont mind Vidot from raiders, but i prefer to see our youngsters have a crack ahead of Reddy. Hes a so & so player. We are clearing them out, not suppose to take more onboard. That's my .02

Joel reddy Would be a safe signing.Vidot is not up to first grade standard makes to many mistakes he could get better sayin that only if we dont put him at centre 1week then wing,fullback etc…as for Joel the only place you could play him is centre and solid he is at that when his playing his best football.

Reddy's Just had a knee reconstruction. Ala Moltzen, will need a full season to get confidence/strength back. Not a great option for 2012, but the $$$ may be right.

I think it was a shoulder reconstruction, and Eels have not offered him a contract. I also heard that he signed with the dogs to play with his brother in law Goodwin.

There were a few articles in the papers in April/May about Reddy 'potentially' going to the Dogs, but haven't seen anything official from Canterbury to confirm this actually happened. He may still be on the available market?

I don't know about Reddy. He was average at his best, from what I have seen of him anyway. I would rather keep Ryan.

My only gripe with Reddy is he was responsible in that tackle that destroyed Tuaiki's career. Other the that, he would be a decent acquisition.

Gee we have great management running our club….we are are again (RUMOURED ) to be chasing another crock.....sheens has destroyed the joint with his stubborness,,,,matt utai from park football was one of our best signings this season ,,,,maybe we could entice hazem .. we could use a good goalkicker...
o well buckle in fellow supporters we are all here for the long ride ,but there will be some major bumps in the near furture ...

I don't see the point in signing Reddy given the emergence of Simona and Limoni Kamuta from the NYC next season.

Joel Reddy iirc was the Parra fullback in 2005\. When they were minor premiers. Either way I saw him playing fullback for Parra vs. Dragons in 2005 and he played well.

Yeh thats right MacDougall. He's no superstar, but he will be handy. I'd say if we dont sign a fullback Reddy may spend some time there. Not exactly the star number one we need, but he'd run hard, and have a high work rate. He would do the job well until Tedesco is ready. But for gods sake, im sick of building for the futre, lets bloody win the comp now.
