Literally worst game from a player I have ever watched. He is going be rocks and diamonds. I’d take back Esan

You obviously didn't watch Esan on Friday night. He was terrible. Joey, however was pretty bad today also.

I just wanted to comment on BJ & the scrutiny & negativity he has been receiving lately on the forum. We all know that BJ is an emotional & extremely good footballer. He is unselfish when it comes to scoring tries, take a look at some of Nofoaluma’s tries, BJ could have easily beaten the defender, but instead passes onto his winger. Hence leading try scorer. However, I find some comments offensive as a Weststigers supporter. People seem to have short memories of key moments in others lives. My question that I ask, where is BJs head at now? When we consider only a few weeks ago he took his young family to Canberra, when was the last time he got to touch, smell & see his family in the flesh? I know if I didn’t see my wife & kids for a set duration of time, my brain would probably not be in the right place at times - no matter what my income was. Anyway, whilst we adapt to living with COVID-19, others like professional sports people just maybe doing life a little tougher than other people like ourselves. Go Weststigers!

It's always fun to look at our reactions when signings are announced. Definitely looked like we were all on board with BJ. Wouldn't be surprised if we were all in agreeance to Cleary's Reynolds/Packer/Mbye signings.

BJ has had a crap year, let's hope a full pre-season under Madge can change it.

🎻 Here have the world’s smallest violin. He gets paid a small fortune to be a professional footballer, more than many will ever see in their lifetime.

I’m a BJ fan but he got dropped this week and rightfully so, his performance against Melbourne was poor.

Mate I wholehearted agree with your comment about him being dropped, was definitely warranted.

However to imply that being paid a small fortune excludes you from being human and having emotions around things in your personal life is so far from reality it’s not funny.

He has a choice many never have. He can take the small fortune and suck it up or do something else like many have had to do during the Pandemic. He has a choice, a lot don’t.

Really?? So your saying his choice due to the pandemic is to either suck it up because his family and himself are struggling emotionally and take the small fortune or quit his job because of it. You realise how ridiculous that sounds don’t you?

The small fortune he earns means he can’t see his family for a season. Obviously this is not great for him given he had to do do a dash to see them. He didn’t sign with us for this.

How would you or your your family do if you were separated for 6-9 months?

He’s obviously not right at the moment and you know what, that’s ok.

Yes that’s exactly what I am saying. If it is too much do something else. Many have had to make that choice, many more don’t even have that choice. I would respect him regardless of which choice he makes. But come the violin card because he is a professional sports person and therefore we should give him extra consideration, because that is just ridiculous. Talk about privilege.

I feel for BJ. He has been well paid for seasons. If I were him if hand in the keys get a release and sign with Canberra at a discount. You can’t be away from your family. It’s not acceptable I don’t care if people do it I’m not a fan. Money isn’t everything.

I prefer to be positive towards our signings, more for hope than anything. It's a pretty sad life if you expect everything to fail.

I think I was positive about all of our signings and a bit hopefuly more than confident about Reynolds, Mcqueen and Douehi (thought he was too slow).

I agree.

I feel we have been a tad unlucky with the signings rather than made bad signings. We have recruited the best people available to us and with our history, we've had to pay overs or offer longer deals. IC has beeb getting a bit of flak for a few reasons and deservedly so but I don't think the signings were all that bad at the time given our reactions.

I honestly don’t know where to start with that type of comment, there is a complete lack of empathy there. Nobody has said he deserves extra consideration because he’s a sports person but for you to say he deserves none because of it is pretty sad.

If he is truly struggling then yes. Even give it away and do something else. No one would criticise him for choosing his family over Rugby League.

I'm really not worried about BJ right now, we've got problems right across the park and atm I still have faith he will find form again. He has already shown glimpses, but like the rest of our team went downhill as the season went on.

I'll be worried if we're still talking about it next season.

I think that we will know what direction Joey will be heading by the end of pre-season. Obviously Madge will know a long time before the rest of us. If he can knuckle down for a good pre-season there is still hope. He didnt get a pre-season in with us this year and it has been a weird year.

I am very glad that BJ has LL here at the club, I feel he will be a good influence on him. LL seems to have had a great attitude to date, hoping it rubs off on his older bro.

For Joey it might be a case of go and have a break and start again in Nov.
