John Bateman #268

[TurnStyle]

Lol... When was the last time a headline read that?! 😂

[ancient_magpie]

Ok Bateman was not doing what we wanted , but who is going to fill that spot now. If the club has a ready made replacement to come in then it’s a great result, if we are relying on the kids to step up and we are paying $300 k a season it’s a dumb move , but I will wait to see how it works out

I'll say it again. SUKKAR

It's a Festivus miracle!!

From what I've seen he's a long way from ready for the week to week NRL grind.... Maybe in a year

[BAGNF05]

Another big tick for the new administration. You can’t have senior guys hanging around your club who don’t want to be there. I still think he’ll add value at NQ and we need a replacement.

We always do well against the cowboys that trend will be continuing lol

I imagine that when we play the cows there will be a lot of live banter directed towards the sunburnt character mangling the english language

I hope ur right will watch him in the trails , I still think we need a class lock

[happy_tiger]

Good that he is gone .....now we need to find an even better replacement for him

I just can’t get this paying $300 plus to get rid of him and no one looks like coming in , we are undermanned in the backrow as it is , so we are down $300 plus and down a tackler with no replacement mentioned other than a bunch of raw kids who would not tackle in NSW cup this year , we have a great looking back line. But again we don’t have a pack to beat 3/4 s of the other teams , we just never get a balance good forwards NO backs , good backs NO forwards , can’t see us getting into the top 8 next year with our pack

[4jtigers]

I am glad he is gone coz he doesn't want to be here. Christmas came 7 days early.

What don't you like about our pack be specific.

Isn't Jack Bird bought to play lock.

I think he will play there but he will be moved around between lock , second row and centre , that’s way I would love a class lock

I think our front row is good and has dept , hooker is very good .
Lock is a major problem , no one stands out at all .
Samual is our really only backrower with class , seyfarth is a good on his day but over all is not a starting player , porter played a few good games but again not a starting player .
None of the kids even looked like they belonged in 1st grade
I hope that answers ur question, just my take on our pack , others will have there thoughts , cheers

Sarcasm?

[Lestronge]

Sarcasm?

Not recently , but historically that’s a true statement . Hopefully we can return to the days of the cowboys being our bunnies !

46 games played....Us 24 them 22
It seems to go in clusters i.e. us for a few years and then them for a few, but over all we are very even

the last few years the games have been chaotic. last year at Leichhardt was nuts. 2023 needs to introduction. the soft whistle of 2022 also comes to mind. never a dull moment.

this year's the 20 year anniversary of 2005 at Leichhardt on a Sunday arvo. it's going to be much like the ones previous.
