John Bateman #268

[Sully]

Impressive and articulate in his interview. Can’t wait to see him smashing it out on the field.

9 days to go

Wests Tigers English recruit John Bateman has enjoyed a guided tour of his new home at the Zurich Centre, after landing in Sydney on Friday

Bateman has arrived.

I saw a bunch of powerade in boxes there as well. Braith would be happy.

[Kaito]

All three will make our best 17, I reckon.

8. Utoikamanu
9. Koroisau
10. Klemmer
11. Papali’i
12. Bateman
13. Ofahengaue

14. Simpkin
15. Twal
16. Pole
17. Blore

Spot on as usual KR. Formidable
pack and bench. Kepaoa is the
wild card due to his versatility ...
Chee-Kam upgraded 2.1 version

I thought that bench was pretty good, who would you have?

Any of the starters. Put the current bench in first?

[TigersFan101]

5 sec into the video looks like they give us a sneak peak of the Anzac jerseys

[426Tlgerland]

Looks good in the tigers gear
looks fit
i think he may miss game one and sit in the box with Coaches , get up to speed , bench game 2

[tiger_scott]

A worthy addition to my draft team. Welcome Johnny!

[twentyforty]

Change is coming.
Twal did 2 offloads - 2!!! In a single trial.
That was twice as many a he did in 13 games last season.

It’s interesting, when Noddy took control and said ok, we’re now going to have some fun, a few of the players including Twaly managed a pass or two but they looked awkward. Sheens must have been in a state of disbelief?

It took him forever to get here cos he came in the GoggoMobil - Not the Dart!

[Tiger_Fanatic3]

Bateman met a few players today who were in Zurich doing extras, one of the players were Stef with the squad given a few days off prior to ramping up to game week next Monday. Bateman will take part in that first session and have the week to prove he’s ready to go.

Not surprised Stef was there doing extras - guy is up for big things this year!

Just wondering if jadtiger still has large reservations about Bateman coming

I said it as well but I'm starting to change my tune. He looks like a crazy pikey and that is a compliment.

[bathursttiger1]

Who is playing lock in your team?

I wasn’t talking about round one, I would have either Bateman or Blore.
I think that both of them have more to offer than Joe.

[jrtiger]

welcome to the fold Jonneh. see you next sunday.

[hsvjones]

Excellent news and great intro video..
VERY excited to have him on board

[innsaneink]

5 sec into the video looks like they give us a sneak peak of the Anzac jerseys

I think that might be the Captains run jersey
