He certainly seemed to have plenty of size up top judging by the photo included with the article. I hadn't heard much about his uncle before he was brought into grade so I see their paths as being very similar. I have a good feeling about Grant, Chisolm and Moses F and hope they get an opportunity at some stage next season.

Its exactly what I want to hear from Grant…I said in a previous post that whilst possessing speed & size he was a bit of a string -bean,the implications of which cld be the NRL cld be a little tough for him.
The 5 kgs of muscle(with hopefully more to come)whilst retaining his speed could well make him one of the best finishers WT has seen.
When was the last time we had any player (apart from lawrence)who got into open space & you cld be certain it was going to be a try?
Given that most of our spec signings are cast-offs from weaker teams,I reckon Grant is one of the be
st specs weve made,& hope he fulfills his considerable potential

I really can't see how anyone can not be excited by the thought of this kid making into first grade. If he does and I'm really expected him to, there will be no stopping him.

To put things into perspective, final minutes of a game, bomb goes up, who would you rather underneath it? Grant or Utai.

Apart from those two you'd have Mitch Brown underneath it. That bloke is the best we've got in regards to catching bombs.

I think all the signs are indicating that John will be pressing for inclusion in the 1ST team 17 from the start of the season!!!!!

You obviously don't know Sheens very well then do you? since when does Sheens rush players? he already has stated he'll bring Grant along slowly, which would have him struggling to be in the round 1 side. There are no 'doubting thomases', its just there are a few people who are realistic about the guys chances in the short term. When it comes to wingers, Tuqiri, Ryan, Utai, and most likely Brown will all be ahead of him come round 1 and that is FACT, and its a FACT you will have to deal with

Beau has come along in leaps and bounds with his catching Happy. There was a time where I used to get nervous watching Beau wait for a kick, but those days are gone now. I was watching the highlights of the game where we beat Souths 30 - 6 and Mitch Brown sprinted across the try line lept above everyone and took a screamer of a catch, thats why I backed Brown.
Sorry I'm getting off topic…..
