Have you watched any NSW cup games ? History should have told management if a bloke can't make a rep team in NSW Rugby union then he is not that good.

Vying for recruitment disaster of the year along with the Englishman Spencer.

Thats a bit harsh, did you watch any club rugby games? He was leading try scorer, the kid is a pure athlete, give him a few months in reserves

He is adjusting to the structures etc.

The big advantage for him is that it seems we run the one structure through the grades (as detrimental as that can be onfield)

You are not wrong Col,I have high hopes for Grant,I think he is Lote's replacement,at a very reduced rate,leaving us with money to spend elsewhere.
 
So tall and would be the fastest in the NRL. Get him in already!

then again, Sheens likes Utai on the wing and hes Short and slow…. so who knows!
 
Quick,tall and can catch…almost the mould of a perfect winger these days. The only reason why he didnt make a rep rugby side is because he is a new kid on the scene. A bit of fresh raw talent could be what the tigers need after last friday!

Oh no leave him, he's busy developing an appreciation of a tired and irrelevant stereotype. He was just dying to tell someone how crap Rugby players are. Did you know that the Polynesians that play Rugby are softer than the Polynesians that play Rugby League? It's true, cauze I think Phil Rothfield said so…..
 
If there were a market for it, i'd love to throw a lazy 50 on him not playing a single game in FG and quietly disappearing into oblivion. I've never seen a guy who has never played 1 FG game be such a protected species with some people

I'm not betting on anyones demise, its just a personal opinion that i think theres a good chance he'll never play FG.

Looks like plenty of takers GNR. Obviously some people don't think Defence is required in our game. It's amazing what the Wests Tigers propaganda machine will have some people believe. Poor guy you have to feel sorry for him.
 
You never know.

Its a lottery. Same things were said about McGaan and Saffy. One turned out not good enough. The other has a premiership ring.

I just think some people have gotten way to carried away with a youtube video. And when your honest and say you can't ever see him playing FG, all of a sudden you supporter credentials get brought into question, and your being told your cheering for him to fail. I'm sorry i wish him well, but i'm over hearing about the guy
 
In dark spots of a season it is natural for people to look for a cult hero.

Look at how elevated a average footballer with dreads got elevated to cult status in Daine Laurie. He was never anywhere near the hype but we were in a dark patch and he was the figure that got looked to.

I wonder if the people who keep calling for his inclusion have actually watched him play in their life?

Look, I really hope the guy makes it but just because he is tall and fast does not mean he will play first grade. If anyone honestly expected him to switch codes and start playing FG immediately they have a warped view of the professional sporting world.

Let's see how he goes in NSW Cup first, shall we?

Some of the highlights are against The Zimbabwe 7's side Really he will need a fair bit of time

If he still needs Meaney to tell him what to do in defence in NSW Cup there is not a hope he is ready yet

Can't people honestly see that

I hope he makes it as he has a lot of assets that will be useful in the NRL But he has twice as many liabilities that will be found out very quickly in the NRL
