John Grant

"He's on a second tier contract. He's a glorified reserve grader. We buy probably buy a dozen players like him every yr , whats the difference with Grant? Its not like he's been setting the world on fire in NSW cup scoring dozens of tries, so why would he in FG? if you want to look at NSW cup players who are playing the house down look at Glen Fiishiahi for the Vulcans. 7 tries in the last two games"

Have you ever seen him play either League or Union? Apparently not judging by you description of him. Fishiani scored 6 tries against the Magpies last weekend. Looking at the Magpies side it is understandable.

It seems to me that you would not know a footballer if you fell over one.

Why, because i'm not jumping out of my skin over a guy who has never played FG? lol funniest thing i've ever heard

I think he has set a record for the highest number of threads dedicated to him. Thats got to be worth something surely!

Grant has some great attributes, most of which have been mentioned. Its early days for him and clearly he has a lot to learn about the structure, shape and defensive alignments of RL. Must be patient.

He should be congratulated for trying his hand at a game that's foreign to him.

On another note, I hear so often that RU forwards are soft and don't have the ticker for the physical contest, just wonded why in some 17 years or so, no RL forwards have gone to Rugby? Easy mone, surely?

I always thought Jake Mullaney was the most hyped player never to play FG. I think this guy has just about got Jake covered

The most hyped had to be Coedi Towney

One good game on the wing in NYC and he was our saviour

A few have gone the other way look at the All blacks sure its not as common because for one they have real scrums.., but rugby is in no way soft, sure club rugby isnt the same as the NRL, but so what, international rugby is as tough as anything for the big games, and anyone who says it isnt doesnt watch it.

Brad Thorn is Chuck Norris. Thats the only reason he's gone the other way so successfully.

I think he has one of the most impressive resumes in history.

Jarrod Saffy moved to the Rebels a year or so ago and is doing quite well

There has been a few. I seem to remember a small indigenous kid in the early 2000s who had massive raps on him from many on the early forums.

Are you kidding or what, there are others that Sheens should give a go ( Moors ) and he doesn't, let alone giving a winger that doesn't even wind up, with the pace that he has. He'll be lucky to be here next year.
