It's a professional networking platform. I can understand a club attempting to lift its professionalism and standards would use this platform. It is also internationally recognised and the discussions about the former St Helens' coach appears to suggest the platform has a wide net. As for journalists laughing, often I read criticisms of journalists on this very forum.

Seriously , imagine listening to pocket holder Riccio , Gould mouthpiece and morally bankrupt muck raker Weidler , and finally the nepo baby Charlie and thinking …. These guys have it switched !
How can in one breath they write endless shit about the tigers being a boys club , then bag the club for using networking tools like LinkedIn.
It’s almost as if they’re a troop of F-wits who say shit to piss off staunch tigers fans so they get eyeballs in thier worthless product .
Straight up Riccio has the most punchable face I’ve ever seen . And Charlie you wouldn’t punch because you’d feel like you were beating up a 12 year old .
all those old media types are the worst. They talk about clubs having shit cultures , their whole business is the epitome of shit culture .

Expired now but we even used seek when searching for a head coach... (NRLW)

Check out this job on SEEK: NRLW Head Coach from Wests Tigers Rugby League Football Pty Ltd - https://au.seek.com/expiredjob/86978687?tracking=SHR-AND-SharedJob-anz-1

He’s about to win coach of the year …. As if you wouldn’t right ? lol
These guys remind me of clubs who decide to buy 50 million dollars worth of pokies licenses because they’re incapable of finding other more clever and less morally questionable ways of driving revenue .
Charlie white is not some genius . He’s a nepo baby , who looks at statistics that say “shitting on tigers drives revenue”. It may be true , but it’s scummy and indicative of the human they are . Don’t listen to them

In all honesty I think Flanagan is a shoe in for the assistant role.

This club always has a knee jerk response to media pressure and there’s been no shortage of media support for Flanagan.

Add in the narrative that Benji isn’t surrounded by experience, Flanagan’s ties to Moses and the fact he’s a former Magpies player and I’d say it’s a done deal.

I think it’s the wrong choice btw. Moses will undermine Benji and the club will tear itself apart again but that’s honestly the level of strategic ability displayed by those running the club.

Benji needs technical and tactical support more than anything. Yes experience would help but a defensive coach that can put together an effective defensive system and focus on the details.

Benji doesn’t strike me as someone who thinks about processes and systems all that much or as someone that’s detail oriented.

There’s never any shortage for support of Flanagan at fox - it’s sickening.
He’s been sacked a bunch of times already, kicked out of the game and run the largest drugs program the game has ever seen…
But still he has his hangers on.

He’s too smart for the journos - he butters them too well when he’s got a gig and they keep pushing him for a gig.

Is he the scapegoat?

Good question !

Chris Lawrence?

We need someone from outside the club, preferably someone older with experience.
