It's a professional networking platform. I can understand a club attempting to lift its professionalism and standards would use this platform. It is also internationally recognised and the discussions about the former St Helens' coach appears to suggest the platform has a wide net. As for journalists laughing, often I read criticisms of journalists on this very forum.

Seriously , imagine listening to pocket holder Riccio , Gould mouthpiece and morally bankrupt muck raker Weidler , and finally the nepo baby Charlie and thinking …. These guys have it switched !
How can in one breath they write endless shit about the tigers being a boys club , then bag the club for using networking tools like LinkedIn.
It’s almost as if they’re a troop of F-wits who say shit to piss off staunch tigers fans so they get eyeballs in thier worthless product .
Straight up Riccio has the most punchable face I’ve ever seen . And Charlie you wouldn’t punch because you’d feel like you were beating up a 12 year old .
