John Sila

With all the players that have left the WTs this year,do any of you forumers think that JT maybe planning on using Sila in the NRL this year,apparently he is young but has a great amount of potential..

I haven't heard much of him since his mid season transfer…

I hear he is a bit like Koroibete. Good speed and strong, but handling and defence let him down at times.

Watched him in the NSW Cup playoff game that we lost to Wyong last season. Absolutely no clue as to positioning in defence. His tackling was very poor for a big guy.Would need a massive improvement to play at NRL level

From what I've seen he isn't first grade quality. I think we got short changed on 'swapping' him for Koroibete.

Why the hell did we take him if he is only a state cup player,surely there could of been better on the list than him..we need nrl level players state cup is full of fringe players and from what you fine people tell me he isnt even a fringe player by the sounds of it…...

Koro would have been worth persevering with at least he had something to offer in attack....

I think that the unfortunate reality is that a couple of fringe players here or there is all that the club can afford for the next year or two. The upside is that the club is a big chance to win the State Cup.

Sila was struggling to make the NSW Cup side last season. He is a lot further behind Koro in all aspects of the game, and even a long way behind where Mr T was.

No chance of first grade unless he spends the entire summer with private defense coaching and miraculously learns to do what he has been unable to do in the past few years!

Deloise Hoeter will probably be the next cab off the ranks in terms of backup wingers.
