Jordan Marshall King injury status

He's not listed anywhere as being still injured. I read somewhere he's too old for NYC. Is he still out there? And wasn't there a younger Marshall whom Benji reckoned was the best of them?

Cheers

That's disappointing news, but thanks.

Well, it's a disappointing OPINION, not news. I could post anything about anyone as fact.I think you should challenge posts that may even support your own view of the world.

yep about 99% sure he doesn't have a club at the moment. If you follow the kid through social media (he loves posting photos of himself shirtless on instagram :-/ then you'll know that he seems to be having a lot of down time at the moment. he just won the MVP playing for the australian touch football team over in a tournament over in NZ but won't be lining up in any first grade squads this year.

seems to be a high profile poster boy for a lot of kids on the fringes of first grade. only hope he can find a good job doing something he likes and continues to back the tigers. Shame he wasn't another Benji!

Look it ain't easy being green

Being the brother of one of the most recognizable footballers in the world , would not be easy especially trying to succeed in that very same sport

Whatever Jordan goes on to do I wish him well

Jeremy King is the younger brother. He is in the SG Ball squad.

Thanks to all who have replied to my initial query. To those who responded with unsubstantiated comments bagging J M-K - get stuffed! But non answers such as "why is that news?" - Hey, instead of Drugs in Sport, maybe the ACC should look at the mentality of sports fans who are too dopey to have a genuine interest in a forum that seeks to discuss relevant issues but are only too quick to engage in cheap smart arsed snipe attacks. I noticed NONE of those comments actually answered my question, which was essentially, "Where is J M-K?" - so clearly you Under 6 graders don't know everything afterall! I asked a legitimate question and the responses indicated that J M-K wasn't at the club any more. So all I said was "Thanks - that's disappointing news" based on the fact that he was a promising player. Sorry folks but you morons who analyse every word are on the wrong blog! It's about football folks not semantics. I'm a Tigers Fan folks. I'm interested in all things to do with a club i've been involved in since 1969 when I sat in the Sheriden Stand and watched the mighty Tigers knock off the Australian team in a classic GF. I don't live in Sydney any more so we don't get much info over here in Adelaide. There has been NO info on the official site about J M-K so I simply thought that this site might be aware of his status.

Once again thanks for the feedback from those constructive contributors.

Has an absolutely atrocious attitude off the field. Will NEVER make it!

Everyone's interpretation of an atrocious attitude differs and your perception of JMK is just that, your perception!
Did you even try and get to know the kid cos he's actually a good kid who's always been polite and courteous around me!

Now to answer the original post, we were chatting to him after the Bulldogs trial and he said that he would be playing Bundy Cup if he makes the team. (Gee that sounds like an atrocious attitude)
So he is around but it has been Summer and Summer is Touch season so he has been focusing on preparing and fundraising for the recent Trans Tasman Touch Tournament held in NZ.

I gotta say I'm quite shocked to see all this negativity RE: JMK because looking back to last preseason so many people on here were basically blowing wind up JMK's butt, and now what?
Up until he got injured in the first Roosters clash at Leichhardt he was playing pretty well and the only reason he didn't make it back into the side once he recovered was because he got badly injured at training which put him out for the rest of the season!

Everyone has a right to an opinion, thats why we enjoy coming on here, but to make unsubstantiated statements is atrocious and unfair to the person in question!
Back up your opinion with a reason!

Gee ease up Tiger Crib - Slick explained the reason for his assessment. You seem to know JMK at a personal level and I'm sure he's a great guy but Slick's read on him based on personal experience was that his attitude to making it in the game was lacking. Doesn't make him a bad person just makes him like a stack of other kids who have talent coming out their rear ends but for whatever reason don't have the extra bit to take them to the next level.
