Agreed but less fickle. Benji was brought in as a relief last year. Reynolds was down and heck he stepped up better then I expected. Yet Benji was meant to be a reserve/fill in for Reynolds/Brooks in the event of Origin, sure he would have played from the bench and been a good cover for our backs. Instead he really stepped up.

This year, if Benji is played from the Bench or not at all that's fine. If Walters is even selected on the bench ahead of him no problem. Benji will play one final game, kick the ball and go out as a club hero he deserves.

If we get seen as a Turnstyle club, the players will treat us that way. Were more then footytips and NRLFantasy. Were a club, sure we can move people on. Set the hard bar at training and if people are past their prime, they will drop.

It’s sad, cos I had high hopes for grub. I was one of his biggest supporters when we signed him. But like everything Ivan touched, recruitment wise, he’s been a wet paper bag. With Madge tapping him on the shoulder last year, I can’t see him being a big part of this team unless there are injuries. That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised to see him fall behind Walters.
