I can only see jr at 5/8 in first grade. If Walters and mbye share hooking role and benji gets injured jr slots straight in with minimal disruption. In the games jr has played for us he's always gone ok. I didn't see the trial but I understand he spent an amount of time at hooker. Even last year benji was a better option there

Benji is a golden boot (pre politics, when it really meant worlds best). No comparison.

As far as I'm concerned Reynolds never was or will be a tiger. Dude has done nothing in a Tigers Jersey to demand respect from the fans.

This foto imo shows how unco, unbalanced he is passing... He's off the wrong foot... He looks awkward and his passes reflect that

Needs to breathe as well ?

I disagree, in rugby league you pass backwards, so if you are passing to the left you need to have your right foot forward to achieve this with precision and effectiveness. If you were to pass with your left foot forward the pass would most likely go forward.

I agree ... and a lot comes from the shoulders..
I’d say Reynolds is goofy footed and or vision impaired !
And as @Demps just said maybe it’s different for lefty’s ?

I think maybe you and @Demps need to watch a bit more footy or have read of a coaches manual. Good luck guys if you ever take up coaching footy skills. Cheers

Probably right but the Storm have cap problems and need a centre. We need speed and have some cap space. So you never never know what could happen and of course if Packer is retired off we have a ton of cap space.

Although if your a betting man..it’s a wind up for sure

Talk about avoiding the point... If we go by your logic how long should we give him credit for getting to the level he's a and we're not at?
And when do we start evaluating and criticising or praising his current efforts?

I don't care about pollies singers or actors either but theyre under public scrutiny for their performance just as Josh and all.pro.players are and to suggest otherwise is ridiculous

You can get personal and throw out words like "flustered" & " I thought you knew more" just shows you got nothing really other then give him credit for getting

No.... Your point was he's reached a level none of us have so he's exempt from criticism... Don't twist this into "yiur morals"

Please INK,my point was he has made it to nrl and soo that many of us haven't...I never said he was EXEMPT from criticism...RESPECT is the point Im making,he maybe playing poorly atm,but is he entitled to being publicly belittled on a public forum just because you say he is in the public eye...

Looks pretty well right to me, as he will twist his torso to deliver the ball as the opposite force, being the lower body as the left leg goes forward providing balance for the movement. He would also normally breath out during the same action.

He drops it cold

It sort of feels bad laughing at the guy but this is exactly how I feel about his game at the moment. You can pretty much guarantee he comes up with a mistake.

Imo , He could be great if he’d calm down ..

Wow if I was Demps I'd probably say happy finishing 9th..

Reynolds would be in all sorts head space wise...he'll have a role to play...still starts the season in Canterbury Cup for mine..

Josh should start in CC this year after his injuries and personal problems just to get his game right....if I recall when he played in CC before his bad injury he was their best player and the couple of games he played in first grade were pretty close to mom I think...he may not be as he was but he also was a very talented player enough to play soo...you have to respect him for that and he does his best in our colours although many don't seem to realise it..

This is true and I was probably one who was too harsh on him the other night. I can handle him in a roving role somewhere around the ruck late in the game, and will trust Madge to get it right. He just looks like a frog in a blender and I'm bitter about the price tag. Not his fault though.

I have to agree OMT.however at the time he was injury free and playing reasonably for the dogs, but they still paid overs for him,as you say not his fault and people should stop and realise how long it takes to get back to top quality playing after a long layoff...I can see he has some problems but I cant justify bagging him out constantly when he has made it into the big arena when so many of us wish we could have...I learnt a very long time ago "you should never laugh at another mans misfortune"...If your an old fella like me OMT you should remember a marvellous player and champion man who played 5/8 for Australia in 1956..Greg Haywick..he was my coach and mentor..he told me that..

Great post.

The lack of respect for Reynolds is over the top imo. He is a Tiger and is giving it his all.

Not sure he is first picked in any position this year but if he’s 14-17 somewhere I’m not unhappy.

Don’t think his showing on Saturday night was as bad as being reported on here either

The lack of respect seems to mirror what people think of his legal issues.

Most people who have met the guy just hope he goes well and gets back to a good place.

Not me. I reckon he is a good guy and I fully support him in relation to his legal situation. I also think he simply isn't up to it anymore.

He hasn’t played a full season since 2016 and has played 12 games in 2 years for us. He’s on track to play less games in the same amount of time than Terry Hill played when he was here. And we know how much time he spent on the sidelines. Inconvenient truth.

There's so much uncertainty with the 9 which I'm gutted about, but I have a feeling that Madge will give JRey another chance.

I reckon Madge will play him off the bench as a roving utility that jumps into the 9 or 6 when Benji or our (unknown) hooker needs a breath.

The same will happen with Walters and Mbye in the first few rounds.

Ignore trial form. Reynolds is overpaid and a disappointment but he is a good 5/8 and a useful utility. Played really well when he came in for Benji last year and it's no shame to not be starting with Benji in form last year. I don't really like him at 9 but I get why they'd put him there.

This foto imo shows how unco, unbalanced he is passing... He's off the wrong foot... He looks awkward and his passes reflect that

?....under 8’s
Needs to breathe as well ?

I can respect that. Not everyone is the same however

Don't speak on behalf of "the people" then
