JR Passes not accepted at today's game

Only found out as we got to the game. Lady let us in as with 6 of us she really didn't have a choice. Apparently only announced it 2 hrs ago.

why didnt she have a choice? isnt it known that junior passes arent allowed for games that look like selling out
